Chapter Twenty One.

"excuse me?" I whispered.

"marry me." he repeated.

I just froze. Wow. I did not expect this for a while. Wow. Oh my, wow. Wow. Lily, breathe.

"of course i'll marry you." I shouted.

"I love you so much, Lily." he mumbled.

"I love you too." I grinned.

Max and I were talking about the baby, and the wedding, when the door opened. Dr Clyde walked in and smiled at us both.

"Hello Lily, hello Max, I'm Dr Clyde." he smiled.

"hi, do you know when I'll be out?" Max asked.

"somebodies eager to get out of this place." Dr Clyde laughed.

"just want to get married." Max grinned.

"aw, isn't that cute. When's the wedding?" he asked.

"there isn't one, we've only just got engaged." I smirked.

"oh, well, congratulations." he smiled.

"thanks." we laughed.

"well, I just thought I'd check on you, so how are you feeling, Max?" he asked as he took a file from the end of Max's bed.

"I feel ok, I have a slight headache but apart from that, I'm fine." Max explained.

"well that's great, I'll leave you guys alone." he said as he walked out.

I'm going to be Mrs Lily George. Woah, that sounds weird.

"Max?" I whispered.

"mm?" he mumbled.

"I'm 6 weeks pregnant." I told him.

"6?! Wow." he grinned.

"yep, I love you, so much." I smiled.

"I love you." he pulled me into a hug.

I'm so glad I left home.
