Lucas: Hey everybody, thank you for clicking on this episode of side track, my name is Lucas, here with me today is my co-host and good friend Greg aka PhantomYoung via video call, say hi Greg.
Greg: Howdy and hello to you all. We got some great news about films and stuff today, but first, I want to get this thing I just found out about out of the way. Do you mind if I talk about this first Lucas?
Lucas: Go right ahead man!
Greg: Alright, so my youngest brother Murray is in a tribute band, and they have just been invited to do this traveling convention thing. The conventions he's gonna perform at will be for fans of The Beatles. So that means he'll be singing Beatles songs for crazy Beatles fans and their families.
Lucas: That's crazy dude. I never even heard of this traveling convention.
Greg: That's because the company does many different yearly conventions, it just so happens that this year's theme is The Beatles.
Lucas: So about your brother's band, what do they have to do with the convention?
Greg: Well, they're not your ordinary tribute band, instead of sticking to one band, they do song covers of other bands. I was told this will be their first and only time covering The Beatles.
Lucas: What bands do they pay tribute to?
Greg: I thought you would know, considering they're from your country and state.
Lucas: Wait wait wait. They're from Texas?
Greg: Yep. From a little town called Sweetwater.
Lucas: Really? Well what's the name of this tribute band?
Greg: Nebula454!
Lucas: NO WAY! I just saw those dudes perform a few months ago! They're pretty good. OHHHH, so your brother is that Murray?
Greg: Yeah, he's pretty good with the guitar.
Lucas: I'll say, he plays real hard on stage, kinda scares me cause it looks like he may pass out at some point. So are they the only tribute band doing it or?...
Greg: Well, they're the only band from America partaking in this thing, they got some from practically everywhere. Whoever wins will get to record at Abbey Road.
Lucas: But didn't they already have 2 albums out? Why would that be a prize?
Greg: Because Abbey Road Studios is where The Beatles mostly recorded their music.
Lucas: Will this mean that a 3rd nebula454 album will be made at Abbey Road Studios?
Greg: A tad unlikely, considering the guys are still in school, they probably won't release one for a bit.
Lucas: That's a shame, it would be pretty cool though.
Greg: Maybe it would've, who knows. Anyway Murray, if you're seeing this video, I want to say good luck to you and your friends on this worldwide competition. Chookas mate!
Lucas: Yeah, nebula454, you guys are pretty cool, show them other bands that we Texans mean business! Good luck dudes!
