End of the road

Having just disqualified themselves from the weirdest competition ever, everybody is back at the farm celebrating their disqualification by having a little party. 

Jeff: I'm surprised I don't feel as bad about getting disqualified by The Wiggles.

Greg: Crazy how it ended with us jamming with The Wiggles. 

Sam: It was everything I thought it could've been. 

Murray: I can go to my grave knowing I jammed out with the king of guitars himself, Murray Cook. I may not have gotten to jam with Ace Frehley, but this was definitely way better! 

Randal: This may be the greatest day of my life. 

Katrina: I thought it was cute when both Jeffs fell asleep and y'all had to wake them up. 

Anthony: Yeah, this is definitely one of those things that will be a key moment in our lives. 

Everybody: BEAUTY MATE! 

Mindy: Hey, you guys should be a tribute band to The Wiggles. You guys pay tribute to everyone after all, and this would be a way to break into another genre. 

Jeff: Well…

Anthony: Maybe someday, I mean we'll have to be very well educated to do that.

Tina: Then perform some songs right here right now. Just to see if you can do them.

Randal: Like right now? 

Anthony: Well? Who's gonna sing lead? 

Everyone starts debating until: 

Mindy: How about Greg, Sam, Randal and Jeff?

Anthony: Hey yeah, why not? That'll separate us apart from most Wiggles tribute bands. 

Greg: But why us four? I think it's been established that we all can sing. 

Murray: Yeah, but you four are the only great contenders for this. During our jam with them, you four sang the parts perfectly. 

Randal, Jeff, Sam and Greg all blush.

Katrina: You all do nearly sound the same when singing. 

Jeff: Well…I guess we can try and see where it goes.

And so, they played some of The Wiggles songs with great success. They sang all through the night until it was time to sleep. The next day, everyone is packing up and getting ready to go home. They then say goodbye to Greg, Sam, Mindy and Tina, and drive off to the airport. Nothing was really said on the way to the airport, nor on the way to the plane. Soon, they're in the air,and hopping from one airport to another. Eventually, they make it to America, and get on a plane in Florida hoping to get to Texas. Jeff is sitting with Katrina,and decides to finally say something. 

Jeff: Katrina?

Katrina: Yes Jeff? 

Jeff: Do you think it'll be awhile until we really meet again?

Katrina: Well, these things do take time. 

Jeff: What if we find people before then? Like what if we have relationships and we feel fine with those people and just stay with them? 

Katrina: Why would you say that?

Jeff: Well, it's just a query, Like what if once we get home, we find someone else for us, and we stay with them instead of going through with the promise. 

Katrina: Jeff, that's kind of a weird thing to say. It just sounds like you want to back down on the promise.

Jeff: I don't want to back down on the promise.

Katrina: Then why even ask something like that?

Jeff: I'm just curious, because I feel like that would happen to us.

Katrina: Can you please stop talking about it? I'm starting to think about it myself and I don't want to anymore.

Jeff: Ok, I'm sorry, I'm just scared that you'll find someone better than me and you'll like them more.

Katrina: Jeff…we just went over this a lot. You know very well what my feelings are for you, and you know it'll never change.

Jeff: Yeah but-

Katrina: JEFF! JUST SHUT UP! I'M JUST AS UPSET AS YOU AND I REALLY DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! ONCE WE GET TO TEXAS, I'M ABOUT TO LOSE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN MY LIFE…THAT BEING YOU! I LOST A LOT OF STUFF AS IT IS, AND NOW I'M GONNA LOSE YOU! AND YOU GOING ON ABOUT IT IS NOT HELPING! THIS TRIP MEANS A LOT TO ME AND IT WAS ONLY A FEW WEEKS!!! WE'RE PROBABLY GOING TO BE SEPARATED FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES!!! I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS RIGHT NOW OK! SO PLEASE JUST DO US BOTH A FAVOR AND SHUT UP!!

Jeff:...Fine, I will, I'm sorry..forget I said anything.

Jeff puts on his headphones, and looks the other way. After a while of silence, Katrina cooled down and wanted to apologize, but could see Jeff was very upset. She figured she'd wait until they got home. At last, they made it to the airport in Abilene, and they got off the plane. As they make it into the airport, Jeff and Katrina look at each other one more time. 

Katrina: Jeff…look I'm…it's just..*sigh* I'm sorry I went off on you, I was just stressed and stuff and…

Jeff: Thank you. Thanks for everything…

Katrina: It was just a temporary relationship…

Jeff: No, it was more than that..and we both know it.

They both gaze into each other's eyes, both filled with sorrow and sadness. Jeff grabs Katrina's hand, shakes it, and walks away. Katrina is about to head in the opposite direction, but runs after Jeff, screaming his name. She catches up to him just as he turns around. 

Katrina: Jeff, I'm sorry about how I acted on the plane, I was very rude and not considerate of how you felt. For real though, I'm really gonna miss you, everything we've done together will be the best memories I'll ever have. You made me feel special, you made me feel like I mattered to you. I felt complete with you. I'm gonna miss these feelings too. 

Jeff: Katrina, I'm sorry too. I'm just worried and scared about us going our separate ways. Plus I know I'm not a perfect person, and I just feel like you'll find someone better than me and way better than that other guy.

Katrina: I'm gonna be honest, I kind of thought the same, but I don't think it'll happen. Yeah you're not perfect, I'm definitely not perfect. However something tells me that deep down we are made for each other. That we are meant to be.

Jeff: I hope you're right.

Katrina: And hey, look at it like this, I will be there at every show you're gonna do, cheering you on by the sidelines. Why? Because you're amazing Jeff McCartney, you have the best heart, the greatest optimism, and willingness to be the best person you can be. Don't ever change ok? 

Jeff: Ok. I won't. But as for you, don't let that guy bring you down, remember that you too are special in your own way and you can do anything that you want to do. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Not your parents, Not your sister, and definitely not him. Be the person you want to be. Even if it means changing your style, if that's what defines who you are, then go for it. 

Katrina: Will you still love me? 

Jeff: I will. Now and then. 

Katrina: I wish I could hug you…

Jeff: What's stopping you? 

Katrina grabs Jeff and gives him a really big hug. Jeff hugs her back. Finally, they stop, they say goodbye, and go their separate ways. Jeff catches up with the guys who are waiting for Jeff's brother John and cousin Todd to come and pick them up. 

Murray: You know, in a way we were rockin’ round the world. Even though we didn't really go all the way around.

Randal: That's one way of looking at it. 

They all laugh.

Anthony: Will you be ok Jeff? 

Jeff: A little, but I know that she'll be there. Watching and cheering me on whether there for real or in spirit. I just hope I won't forget her.

Eventually he will, but don't worry, they'll reunite, somewhere, someday.
