"Falen! You're finally back!" Iris shouted as she jogged from her parked car and to the bus stop that I had just got dropped off at. I looked up to see her approaching me with a smile on her face. She had a couple of bags in her hand, so I was assuming that she had just returned from town. "Welcome back, Falen. How was that request?" She said, smiling. I returned the smile, speaking. "Thank you. It went well. Too easy honestly, but I got everything done and I was only gone for three days." Iris nodded, motioning for me to come with her. I followed, my tail swished back and forth as we walked into GATE's main building. Iris spoke up as we walked. "You didn't miss much. Actually, you're just in time for a class project that will be introduced tomorrow." I nodded, relieved that I didn't have much work to make up. We kept talking. I still didn't know where we were going, but I wanted to get to my dorm soon so I could eat and get to sleep on time for class tomorrow. Luckily, we were heading to the dorms. Iris stopped in front of my dorm, pulling out her Phone. "I'll text you pictures of all of the notes you missed, okay?" She said, looking up from her phone. "Okay, thanks Iris." I said, nodding and entering my dorm. She waved goodbye, leaving to most likely go to her own dorm.

I set my bag down on my bed, flopping down next to it after. The blanket was cool and my mattress was as comfortable as its always been. I know I was only gone for three days, but it felt longer. I just planned on relaxing, but soon I felt myself getting tired. My eyelids grew heavy and within minutes I fell asleep.

----------------

The alarm on my clock activated. The annoying loud buzz immediately woke me up. My eyes shot open and I sat up. My hand made its way to the alarm, shutting it off as quick as I could. I then turned, looking at the alarm clock that was now silent. The bright numbers read 5:00 A.M. "Damn.. I slept through the whole night. Looks like I will have to make up my work after my classes today and during lunch.." I then got out of bed, making my way to my bathroom. I normally don't wake up this early, but instead of wasting the extra time I had to get ready, I decided to take a shower. I shut the bathroom door behind me, turned the shower on and began undressing, tossing my pajamas on the floor. I climbed in, the warm water hitting my body allowed me to wake up.

I finished after ten minutes. New record actually. I brushed my teeth, my body and hair both wrapped in a fluffy towel. I did my hair, makeup, and then made a trip to my closet. "What to wear.." I whispered as I began rummaging through my large wardrobe. I suddenly remembered a new skirt I had bought before the new school year started. I haven't work it yet, so I decided to. I chose a shirt, thigh highs, and shoes to match. I quickly got dressed and looked in the mirror at the result. I had a dark red short sleeve shirt that was tucked under the new black, high waisted skater skirt. The skirt end at the middle of my thighs and right under it were the black thigh highs I had chosen. To tie the outfit together, I had black ankle boots on. I grabbed my bag and put my phone in it, walking to my mini fridge to get something to eat. As soon as I opened it I remembered that my stash of food had been invaded by none other than Opal and Iris. I closed the fridge, sighing. Looks like I would be spending time in the cafeteria this morning. At least I have extra time for once.

I made my way to the cafeteria quietly, every now and then I passed by some fellow students or a teacher. As I arrived in front of the cafeteria I sighed. I didn't really like it here. A lot of students hang out here for what ever reason before school starts. It's not that I'm shy, but I just don't care for large crowds of socializing teens. I walked in, directly heading to the short breakfast line. I joined the line and saw my friend Kane directly in front of me. He was unaware of my arrival so I tapped his shoulder lightly while speaking. "Kane, I'm surprised to see you here." He turned around, greeting me in return. "Hello Falen. I'm not usually here. I just woke up late and didn't have time to make my morning kill in the forest." I let out a small laugh before explaining my reason of being here. "That's unfortunate. I'm not usually here, but I don't have anything in my fridge, nor...the time to hunt in the morning." He nodded, moving up with the line. He was next so he began getting his breakfast, I followed, getting mine after a tray was in reach. After getting my breakfast I turned to look for Kane. I wanted to see if he would like to sit with me, but to my surprise he was nowhere to be seen. Okay, not saying see you later is cool too. I thought before looking for an empty seat for myself. I found one near the door and away from the crowds, as I was going to sit my red gaze happened to land on the clock on the wall. It read 6:45 A.M. I wouldn't have enough time to sit and eat, so I took the chocolate muffin and milk carton off of my tray before exiting the cafeteria. I ate my breakfast as I made my way to class.
