I exhaled slowly and quietly as I opened my eyes. Not only was I unable to relax, but I couldn't get any sleep; not that it was needed though. I honestly just prefer it every now and then. Especially in situations like this where everyone around me is actually asleep. I slowly pushed myself up into a sitting position, making sure that the mattress below me wouldn't make a sound. I twisted my body around a bit so I could reach the dresser that was next to the bunk beds. I glided my hand down the drawers until I reached the fourth handle. After opening it, I sifted through the stuff until I felt my phone.
"Six thirty...it's been a long night.." I said quietly to myself as I turned my phone off and got out of bed without a sound. I walked across the room to the door that led to the bathroom. I looked back at my sleeping friends as I entered the bathroom. Thankfully I had not disturbed their sleep. Since they fell asleep before me, I couldn't even tell them the time that we were leaving this morning, so I planned to wake them up myself.
The only problem that is posed with that plan of mine is that I'm not sure what time is appropriate. If I were to wake up Faith and Iris too late, they'd have a problem with not having enough time to do whatever they feel the need to do to get ready. If I woke up Opal too early, she have so much spare time that the chance of her complaining was high. I continued to think of the many outcomes, and the right time that they should be awoken.
My hand lifted to my face. "I'm making this too complicated. I'll just wake them up when I finish with my shower." I whispered to myself as I turned on the shower.
-------------------------------
"I hope you left some hot water in there for us." Faith said to me as I exited the bathroom, holding a white plush towel around myself. "Also, you left your outfit on the dresser."
I took a quick glance at the dresser before returning my focus to Faith. "Actually I meant to leave it there. I wasn't expecting the three of you to wake up. Anyways, there should still be hot water left, and if there isn't it shouldn't take too long to reheat." Faith nodded and walked into the bathroom.
After putting my clothes on, I decided to do my hair. I wasn't going to do much, but I at least wanted it dry before we went off. I made the choice not to bring my flat iron, but I know someone who did. I made my way up the steps in the cabin, discovering that Iris and Opal were eating breakfast. "Iris." I simply said, peering through the doorway. She tiredly looked up from her bowl of cereal. My ears pricked up as Iris's response was just a simple groggy groan. "May I borrow your flat iron?" I asked, blinking. She simply nodded before returning to her food. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up sleeping in it.
After straightening my hair I took a couple of minutes to quickly apply a small amount if makeup. I wasn't too concerned on doing everything, but I at least wanted to apply a few things.
I read the time that was displayed on my phone. It was now eight fifty five. I picked up the scent of the guys leaving their cabin. Figuring that they were ready, I went outside and joined them.
The first person I seen was Keita. He was leaning against the cabin wall next to the door I just came out of. "Hello Keita." I said, closing the door behind me. He looked at me with his icy eyes. He nodded in response, so I turned away to greet everyone else. "Good morning, Falen. I assume that you're ready?" Shizuo said with a bright smile. He must have slept well.
"Yes, I'm ready to go. Although I'm not sure about the other three." I said, glancing back at the cabin.
"Why's that?" Shizuo asked, curiosity clearly present in his tone. "Oh..they're still doing their makeup." I said with a small laugh.
