Dear Falen, There will be a big Halloween party, and I would like you to come!

I smiled as I read the Halloween themed card from Shizuo. I climbed onto my bed, laying on my stomach. My tail swished back and forth as I held a pile of mail in my hands. I had mote than usual due to the request i had finished the other day. "Junk..junk..more junk.." I whispered to myself softly while tossing the mail that was useless to the side. One particular envelope caught my eye. It was red and held together by a black wax seal. I recognized the seal immediately and sighed. It was mail from my father. "More junk..."

I rolled off my bed and walked over to the desk I had in my room. I pulled open the drawer, revealing a semi-large stack of identical envelopes. I placed the newest on top, closing the drawer after. I then pulled out my phone, opening up a new message to see if any of my friends were available to go Halloween shopping. After typing the message, I moved my finger over towards the send button, clicking it.

After a good thirty minutes of relaxing, my phone vibrated loudly against the wooden table in my room. I had received a few replies. They all were from my friends who agreed to go shopping for a Halloween costume. The decision was made that we would all meet up at the mall in thirty minutes. "Perfect.." I softly whispered to myself, making my way to my closet.

  I changed into some black jean shorts that were frayed, and a wine red off the shoulder top. Afterwards, I picked up my small black purse, slipped on my black vans, and headed towards the parking lot where my car awaited me.

"Where are they?" I thought to myself while letting out a quiet sigh. I can't sense them anywhere, and all of us were supposed to be here ten minutes ago. I spotted an empty table in the crowded food court, walking over to it and sitting down in one of the four cushioned seats. Several seconds after I got comfortable I spotted Iris, Opal, and Faith walking through the sliding doors of the mall. I stood up as they approached the table I was at. To get their attention, I waved.

"Oi Falen." Iris said, waving back happily. I watched as Iris guided Opal and Faith towards me, considering they didn't notice me at first. "It's so crowded today! I can't believe you were basically right in front of me and I didn't even notice!" Faith said with laugh. I shrugged my shoulders and spoke, my ears flicking up a bit. "Welcome to the mall."
Opal grinned at me as she pulled a handheld notepad out of her purse. She flipped through the small pages until she found whatever she was looking for. "I'm glad you brought up Halloween costume shopping because I've actually been doodling mine." Opal had a smile plastered on her face as she held the notepad up for me to look at. "Hmm...is that little red riding hood?" I asked, examining the quick scribbles and notes on the paper. Opal nodded, closing the notepad and sliding it back into her purse.

"so what are you two going to be?" I asked, looking over at Iris and Faith. Faith answers with a smile and a picture on her phone. "I'm going to be a witch. You know, one of the stereotypical ones that you'd find in movies." I nodded in approval, looking at the picture. After she put her phone away we all looked at Iris. She was the only one who hasn't shared besides myself. "Mine is a secret." Iris says with a sly grin. "Well, the faster we go shopping the fast we'll see Iris's costume." Opal says as she begins to walk in the direction of the Halloween stores that we temporarily set up in the mall. The rest of us began walking as well, weaving through the large crowds and doing our best to stay together. "That shop first!" Faith said as she dragged Opal, Iris and I into the nearest Halloween store. The walls were filled with decorations. This place really had the Halloween atmosphere down. I went on my own to look. My fluffy tail swished with every step I took. My eyes were fixated on the many different items for sale. I already had my costume created in my mind, but now I just needed to find everything for it.
