The portal opens and we fall into a blade of bushes. We groan getting up, regretting not knowing where it'd open. "Ventus, if we ever do this again, please make sure we open on the floor please...." Paulanci says, rubbing her arm in pain. Ventus nods her head, they both got up, looking around. She quickly hides her crystal under a load of fallen leaves, so she wouldn't accidentally loose it.
They see an open field of bushes and trees, and an open field near. The crew and shifters keep looking till Martin hears a weird kind of growl. Martin looks down and sees a little Tasmanian Tiger joey (Paulanci: The one on the books cover. Me: UGGHH!! Paulanci: Hehehe) licking his legs. "Hehe, hey guys, I found one!"
The crew look towards Martin and immediately coo from cuteness. "Aww, what a cute little joey!" Aviva says, looking like literal hearts were in her eyes. That's when more tigers come out, the mother and father, and the little joey runs to them. They nuzzle their faces together, making the crew coo even more.
The tiger family start to walk around, looking for things to hunt. Martin started thinking of names. "What should I name them?"
But then Ventus quickly raises her hand, jumping a bit. "Wait wait, can I name them this time?! Please?!" She uses her please face, making Martin sigh in humor. "Fine, you can name them." Ventus then looks at the tigers, thinking of a name.
"Ok, the dad would be Alpha, the mom would be Koki, and the little guy would be, Carlito." Martin nods his head, meaning he liked the names. Meanwhile, Koki felt flattered. "You named the mother after me?" Ventus nods, grinning as she said, "Half of it is because your the mom friend." The crew, and even Koki, laugh at that, agreeing to the fact Koki is a mom friend.
They continue to play with the baby tiger, while Aviva uses the animal facts that they learn along the way. Like their unique unhinged mouths when they growl, and their tails could hold up their bodies if they leaned on them. And an extra, but interesting fact, they have unique stripes on their backs, like Carlito's little X on his back. But right when she finished, they heard horse drawn wagon nearby. The crew gasp, before they quickly grab the cub to his family, keeping them away from sight. The crew and shifters look from the bushes to see who it was.
The wagon stops, the horses neigh, before someone's hand pets them, calming them down. The people jump out, showing Martino and Carlos, the ancestors they read about. Ventus sees them and immediately goes feral. "So those are the punks in the book?" She then tries to get up, but Koki immediately holds her down with her extremely big strength, the queen tries to wiggle out, saying, "Let me at them, let me at them!!"
Koki was struggling to hold her down, quickly reminding her, "Ven, you can't just kill them! You know that if you kill them, we could loose Martin and Chris forever!" Ventus immediately stopped resisting, gasping in shock, asking, "Wait, what?!"
Aviva walks up to the duo as Koki lets the shifter go. "Those guys are their ancestors, their family. And if we kill them, Martin and Chris may not exist. You don't want that to happen, do you?" Ventus looks at the brothers, Martin had gotten distracted half way though again and was playing with Carlito, while Chris looks at him amused. Ventus sighs and shakes her head. "Good, I don't want that either, now let's see what their planning." They then look at the past brothers again.
The brothers in question looked really excited as they go to the back of the wagon. Martino quickly says, "I still can't believe it, 500 dollars!" Carlos shakes his head in amusement, his brother's always like this. "500 dollars just to hunt tigers! Aren't you excited Carlos?!"
Carlos rolls his eyes as he grabs a box from the wagon. "Yeah yeah, I am. But don't get too riled up my dear brother, we're just hunting a little pack. remember what Zeke said to us?" Paulanci was curious and uses her power to see the memory. Her hair flows in magic again as the memory is shown to the crew, unknowingly the Spy bot, and you. (Paulanci: Yes, to you. Me: I, Deh dee, ugh!)
