Where are they? Ventus noticed that the brothers haven't come back yet for a while now and was getting worried. She walked over to her body guard, tapping her shoulder. "Hey, pup."
Paulanci was having a nap under the bushes, before tiredly waking up. "What V?"
"Have you seen the brothers?" Paulanci got up and pointed at the Kratt brothers, who were playing with Carlito. "No, not those brothers, the PAST brothers." Paulanci makes an o shape with her mouth before shaking her head. Ventus sighs, worried about what they were doing.
"Don't worry too much V, the tiger family is right here, so they aren't out hunting. They're probably reloading their guns." Ventus was still concerned, so she decided to look for them, the crew joining her, after telling the tigers to stay put of course.
They started to look through the prairie, looking for the past brothers. They didn't have to look for long, since they see them looking at someone like they were crazy. They look closer to see it was Zach, who was looking frustrated about something. "Zach?!" Aviva asks, snarking. "What's he doing here?!"
Zach was groaning, as he was trying to explain his technology for an hour now, yet these brothers weren't getting any of it. "Alright lets try again. My is this?" He holds a computer chip up, showing it to Martino and Carlos.
The brothers looked at the chip, not getting it. "Uhh, is that a piece of seaweed?" Carlos asks, since they're a square shaped green thing. The crew and shifters snicker at the scene.
Zach facepalms, having a frustrated sigh. "No! It's a computer chip!" The brothers look at it again. "What's a computer?" Martino asks, getting a near scream from Zach.
That's when Zach hears the snickering of the crew, and sees them trying to contain their laughter. Ventus was he first to speak up, trying to contain her laughter. "Zach, I don't think they understand!"
Zach sneers at her, shouting. "They do understand! Just give them a minute!" He hands Martino a remote controller, he uses it to control the Zach bots. "What is this?"
Martino looked at the remote in confusion, never seeing this before. "A......A weird rectangle thingy?"
The whole crew burst into laughter. Zach doesn't realize that none of these things were made in the early 1800's. Zach was almost at his breaking point. "OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!"
The crew continue laughing, while the past brothers looked at the remote in wonder. Martino presses a button and a Zach bot compacts in itself. The brothers look at it in shock and wonder. "Did you see that?!" Carlos asks, pointing at the bot.
Martino presses the button again, the bot opening up again. He keeps pressing the same button, over and over and over and over and over again. Zach just watches this before sighing and grabbing the remote back. "Ok, you can stop now."
The heroes finally calmed down, before getting a serious look on their faces. "Zach, what're you doing here?! You're not supposed to be here!" Chris says, going up to his enemy.
Zach goes to the crew with a frustrated huff. "I came here from the portal like you guys did and was trying to make an alliance with these rats for an hour now, but they won't listen!"
The crew gasp while Paulanci groaned. "Ugh, I told you we should've had the close after friends went through feature added!" Ventus honestly had no comeback to that and just nodded.
"Anyway, Zach, you should've known this wouldn't work! This is 1841, a time where no technology was even created, what did you think was gonna happen?" Aviva says, baffled by Zach's lack of common sense.
Zach just rolled his eyes and said, "So, they were suffering without it anyway! Now let me finish my deal!" He then heard Paulanci ask, "Uh, with who?"
Zach looked behind him, only to see the past brothers were gone. "What?! Where'd they go?!" He then saw Ventus was gone too, he facepalms as he realized what had happened. "You've gotta be kidding me!"
