"Hey Jack! Guess what I heard!" Ten year old Anna exclaimed as she ran over to her best friend. "What is it?" The other kid asked curiously. "Well I heard that there is an evil witch living in a Cabin on the outside of New Asgard!" Anna replied.
She looked excited while Jack was definitely more sceptical and worried about this knew rumor. "And?" Jack said looking at Anna with a very 'Don't you dare do something stupid!' look. "It's not far away!" She said, grinning. Jack sighed, "No! We are not going!" He protested.
"Well I'm going to go with or without you!" Anna told him. "Fine then I guess you are going on your own." Jack said, crossing his arms. "Fine!......but... I mean I'd prefer if you came with me." Anna said and Jack caved, "Alright then I'll go." He said. Anna was grinning excitedly, she clearly saw this a great adventure, "Brilliant!".They set off for the mysterious cabin the next morning. They armed themselves with stolen kitchen supplies and of course snacks for the journey. It was only an hour until they saw the log cabin at the edge of the woods. There was a beautiful lake behind it and everything looked golden in the warm summer sunlight.
"Wow it is really beautiful here." Jack said and Anna agreed as they approached the building. "Wait I think I see someone." Jack said, placing a hand on Anna's shoulder.
"Is it the Witch?" Anna asked him. "Look." He told her. Anna peered around the tree they were hiding behind to see a woman with long Black hair and a loving smile.
The woman wore an emerald green blouse and smart, black trousers. She definitely didn't look evil but what really proved the rumors wrong was the small child that ran into the woman's arms. The little girl must have been only three years old and looked very much like the woman especially since she also had black hair.Anna and Jack were about to leave and go home to tell the other children about the truth behind the rumor when it suddenly got extremely cold. Snow fell from the sky and they heard the child giggling and yelling happily. They turned back around to see a green mist spiraling around the woman's hands, she must be the one controlling the weather! She is a witch! But.... that doesn't mean she is evil, maybe she is like Thor with her powers. The two kids watched as both the woman and her child turned blue. Blue?! What?!
Anna looked towards Jack, confused. He motioned for her to be quiet then held her hand and pulled her back from where they had come from. He kept walking till he knew they couldn't be heard or seen. "They must be Frost giants!" He said but Anna's brow furrowed deeper I'm confusion. "But wasn't Loki the last Frost Giant? Remember Thor told us all when we were told that they aren't monsters and you remember." She said. They talked and talked until they decided to go straight to Thor and tell him what they had seen, luckily Thor was on a visit to New Asgard and not at work with the other Avengers.
..........
"Thor! Thor!" He heard two voices yelling his name and turned to see Anna and Jack. "Hey kids! How are you?" He greeted loudly. Anna and Jack immediately started rambling and talking over eachother while Thor stood, confused and shocked at the strange outburst. "Woah woah! Slow down young Asgardians! What is the matter?" He asked. The two kids explained exactly what they had seen and agreed to take Thor where they had found the cabin.
Now Thor and two small children were walking quickly to the location of the cabin. Thor had no idea what to think, it sounded like Loki so much but he had died, for real this time. He was mostly lost in thought on their way to the cabin so it surprised him when they got there so quickly.
"Um thank you so much children! Please go back home safely, I must meet this new neighbour on my own." He told them and Anna and Jack nodded politely then walked back towards their homes.
Thor approached the mysterious wooden cabin cautiously, it was mysterious because it was still snowing and currently no where else anywhere near them was anything but sunny and warm. As he knocked on the door anxiety rippled through him. A voice from inside shouted, "Who is it?", they sounded fine but nervous like they didn't get many visitors. Thor supposed they didn't.
Thor cleared his throat, "A neighbour! I have merely come to meet the people who live here! I didn't know this building was even here you see!" He yelled back through the door, he wasn't sure if they would answer and began to get more nervous.
Then the door opened and Loki looked directly at him. Loki. Loki. "Loki?" Thor asked, barely a whisper as he stared at the person before him."Thor. I-" Loki began but Thor had already wrapped his arms around her in a crushing hug. Loki let Thor cry it out for a minute until he pulled away,"Loki! How?! how are you-" Thor questioned but Loki interupted this time, "I'll explain soon. Just come in and sit down. I'll get us some drinks." She said, directing him inside and closing the door behind them.
......
"Do you want anything to eat?"
"Poptarts?"
"Ah well luck for you brother mobius loves them"
"Mobius?"
"Ah yes you may get to meet him lat-"
"Did someone say poptarts?!"
"-er or now apparently"
(Ahhh I lost motivation at the end but oh well)
