Yui can cover herself or anything she touches with super-durable crystals, she can manipulate the shape and sharpness of the crystal and dematerialize it on a whim. Yui can cover parts of her body (mostly her hands, feet, shins and forearms) with crystal to protect herself or increase the force of her attacks. The more crystal she materializes around herself the more she weighs herself down and decreases her mobility. Yui will often materialize crystal over part of her body to block a specific attack then dissipate it. Yui needs to be strong enough to lift the crystals she materializes, which requires her to do a lot of strength training. To use her quirk on something other than her own body requires direct skin contact. The crystal will spread from the point/points where she touches an object then grow to envelop the object. The moment she breaks physical contact the Crystals will stop spreading and begin to weaken.
