Max skated by with his EarPods in listening to music. He was heading to the skate park when he glanced up and looked annoyed at Bradley. Max hated how Bradley was just some stuck up rich kid that would taunt him.
Max was just a freshman in college but really good a skateboarding! He had shaggy black hair that was fluffy and cut to almost a mullet but was always usually messy.
Soft and gorgeous dark blue eyes with fair skin and snakebite piercings which Bradley would tease him for but he really loved. He was wearing his usual baggy dark blue jeans that he would wear no matter the weather and a red tank-top.
He didn't care how he looked which was a huge contrast to Bradley's pristine uptight attitude about his own looks.

Bradley spotted Max as he skated by and gave him a small scoff. Max was your typical annoying skater boy, messy hair and piercings and everything. Normally, Bradley would've went right up to him to insult him, but he felt... different.

Normally he thought how disgusting Max was, but now he found himself staring at him for a bit too long. He felt a weird heat in his body, and his face went slightly red. Not of anger like he usually was, but for a completely different reason.
He suddenly felt his heart begin to race, and he quickly tried to play off those reactions as annoyance.
Max met up with his friends, Bobby and PJ, at the skate park. He laughed and fist bumped them before talking about the new tongue piercing he got yesterday while holding his board. His stupid adorable smile painted on his face.
Bradley watched Max with his friends. As a freshman, Max was quite younger than Bradley, who was a senior.
He saw Max's smile, and he felt something in him that he never had before. He found himself unable to look away from Max, despite knowing how "disgusting" he would usually think Max was.

He then mentally yelled at himself.

"What the hell is wrong with me? I should not be looking at a loser like him like that... right?"

An hour or so passed and Max was walking back to his dorm with his board. He glanced and saw Scene Bean cafe and walked in to get some dinner. He got a bagel and some Root Beer. He sat down and munched while scrolling on his phone.

Bradley just so happened to be getting coffee, and he ended up getting on line at around the same time as Max. As he stood behind Max at the end of the line, he couldn't stop glancing at him occasionally... more often than he'd like to admit.
He looked him over, noticing his messy hair, those snakebite piercings that he usually thought were gross looking... but now for some reason he actually thought they were kind of... well, cute. This thought almost made him choke on his own spit.
Max glanced up when he heard the coughing and saw Bradley. He looked confused but decided to be polite and flash Bradley a little smile.

Bradley immediately froze. He wasn't expecting Max to look at him, and he certainly wasn't expecting a smile. It was just a little, polite smile, but Bradley still felt his breath catch, and his face got warm again.

He just stood frozen momentarily, but he was snapped out of it when the barista told Max that his order was ready. Bradley, internally panicking, stepped up to the counter to place his own order.
Max yawned and got in a booth as he sat down and munched on his bagel. He took his laptop out and ate while working on some school work for the next day that was definitely put off to the last minute..
Bradley got his coffee, and to his misfortune, the only empty seat available in the café was right across from Max. Taking a deep breath and reminding himself that "he's just some loser", he slowly made his way over to the table and sat down.

He immediately began to pretend to look at something on his phone, but in reality, he was discreetly looking at Max every now and then...
Max glanced up and smiled a little when he saw Bradley.
