The next few days went as normal. Classes, skating around, and then in the evenings they would meet up. Either at Scene Bean cafe or the skatepark..usually the skatepark because it was always empty and quieter.
One night however, Max was late to their usual spot at their usual time.
Bradley groaned as he waited at his and Max's usual spot by the skatepark. Max was late. Very late. And that was unlike him.
Sure, he might be a little late in the afternoon, but he was never late into the night like this. Bradley's heart was beating anxiously as he checked his watch again. He kept wondering and wondering why Max wasn't here yet...
"Sorry I'm late!" Max called as he rode up on his skateboard.
He looked excited as I parked his board and slid down into the bowl with Bradley.
"Guess what!" He said excited.
Bradley looked up as Max finally showed up with his board, and for some reason the anxiety in his chest started to go away seeing he showed up. But why the hell was he so late? He raised an eyebrow.
"You're 45 minutes late, dumbass. Where the hell were you?"
Max put his hands up. "I know..I know..sorry I'm late but I was doing something important that I think you'll like!"
He smiles and moves his hair a little to show Bradley the eyebrow piercing.
"Isn't it sick!" He says happily.
Bradley's heart nearly stopped as Max finally came into the view and showed the eyebrow piercing, and he knew Max was right, he immediately loved it. It was so damn hot, and it looked absolutely perfect on his face.
But he could tell Max was so damn excited about it, he was afraid his true feelings would be obvious, so he tried to not sound too thrilled.
"Yeah...yeah it's, ah, it's cool..."
Max looked a little confused by the hesitant reaction.
"Are you sure? You sound a little..quiet.." He said with a little smile.
Max looked incredibly hot just as Bradley had thought...Bradley though his heart might stop from being so overwhelmed. Max was..sexy as hell and didn't even know what he was doing to Bradley.
Bradley cursed internally as Max caught on that he was feeling uneasy. How did he somehow always know when he was feeling anything other than arrogance or sass?
It was almost annoying as much as it was attractive. Bradley felt himself going into a slight panic, needing to somehow distract himself from how hot Max looked at this moment.
"I'm not quiet, I'm just...just being normal. It looks...good, okay??"
Max looks a little suspicious of Bradley's behavior but decides not to push it anymore so he doesn't get Bradley mad..Max smiles and runs his fingers through his hair to fix it.
"Well..thanks!" He looked into Bradley's eyes with a little innocent smile. He was ten times hotter..he looked like a 90s skater kid..and it was so incredible and unintentionally hot.
Bradley felt like he was gonna go insane. Max running his fingers through his hair and smiling like that was already a lot for him to handle, but combined with the eyebrow piercing and the more "skater boy" appearance.
Bradley suddenly had to fight really hard to control himself from saying something dumb or doing something stupid because his feelings for Max were screaming louder than ever to just...just DO something...
