Max looks down at his hands holding Bradley's..

"But..I have insecurities..I doubt everything! I-.."

Bradley gently lifts Max's chin so he was looking directly at him.

"I know you have insecurities, and I'm not perfect either. But that doesn't change anything. I still want to be with you, flaws and all."

He smiled softly, looking into Max's eyes

"And as for the insecurities and doubts...I'll be there to reassure you and help you through them. I'm not going anywhere, Max. I'm here for you, no matter what."

Max smiles softly and laughs gently as he wipes away his watery eyes.

"H-..how long have you liked me and I didn't notice?" Max asked quietly.

Bradley chuckled softly, seeing Max's teary eyes and amused smile.

"Honestly, I've liked you pretty much since we became friends. It just took a little while for me to fully realize it and admit it to myself."

He looked into Max's eyes, his expression soft and sincere.

"And I tried to give you hints and make it obvious, but apparently you're a lot denser than I thought."

Max scoffed and rolled his eyes playfully. "Oh shut up.." He teased and smirked.

"So..two years and I've never noticed?" Max remarked with a little smile

Bradley playfully rolled his eyes back at Max, scoffing lightly.

"Yeah, two years and you've been oblivious this whole time. It's a bit funny, really."

He chuckled, his expression turning softer as he looked at Max's smirk and listened to his words

"I tried to make it obvious, Max. But you're just so self-deprecating that you never even considered the possibility that I could like you."

Max sighed and smiled a little. "Well..what does that mean for us now? Because I certainly like you back.."

Bradley's heart skipped a beat hearing Max say he liked him back. He smiled widely, a mix of happiness and relief in his expression.

"It means that I want to be with you, Max. Officially."

He squeezed Max's hand gently, intertwining their fingers even tighter.

"I want to hold your hand, and hug you, and kiss you...I want to be your boyfriend, Max."

Max smiled lovingly and kissed up Bradley's hands.
"I would love too..but..are you sure you'll be fine with being openly gay? Would that..y'know..ruin your reputation.." Max asked gently.

Bradley felt a surge of butterflies in his stomach as Max kissed his hands, his heart feeling warm and fuzzy.

"Honestly, I don't care about my reputation. My status, my image, it's all bullshit to me now. The only thing that matters to me is being with you."

He looked into Max's eyes, his expression serious.

"As long as I have you, I don't care who knows I'm gay, or what people think. You're the only thing that matters to me now, Max."
