The weekend comes and Bradley's dad arrives. He pulls up in his million dollar Porsche and suit.
He is a dangerous and rich looking dude whose whole personality is money (surprised where Bradley got it from). A smaller lady by his side accompanied him. Bradley's mother who looked as rich as his father but a lot sweeter.
Max stood next to Bradley as they approach. Max looked his normal. He had shaggy black hair that was fluffy and cut to almost a mullet but was always usually messy. Soft and gorgeous dark blue eyes with fair skin and snakebite piercings and eyebrow piercing.
He was wearing his usual baggy dark blue jeans that he would wear no matter the weather and a red tank-top. He didn't care how he looked which was a huge contrast to Bradley's pristine uptight attitude about his own looks.Bradley took a deep breath as he saw his father's Porsche pull up in front of the dorm building, feeling a pang of anxiety and dread. His mother gracefully got out of the car as well and stood beside his father.
As they approached them, Bradley's gaze flickered to Max standing next to him.
He winced slightly at how Max looked, so contrasting to Bradley's own prim and proper appearance. He hoped his father wouldn't make any negative comments about his friend's appearance.
Max smiled innocently and excited at the two millionaire standing in front of him who were also Bradley's parents. Bradley's mom smiled and hugged her son happily.
"Hello Brad! How is college, honey?" She said with a smile. Bradley's whole personality seemed to change and he seemed to act like his old self Max noticed.
Bradley hugged his mother back, feeling a little less anxious in her presence. He smiled somewhat genuinely and sighed.
"Hey, mom. Everything's been fine and going well. Classes and everything are good."
He then glanced over at his father, who had a stoic expression on his face and was scanning Max with a look of judgment on his face.
Bradley's mom looked over at Max and smiled but was a little taken it back.
"Is this your friend?" She asked and looked back at Bradley before approaching Max and hugging him as well like she would her own son.
Bradley returned his father's emotionless greeting and nodded at him.
"Hello, father. It's good to see you."
He noticed Max getting along with his mom surprisingly well, giggling with her. He couldn't help but feel a pang of worry as he saw his father's critical glare at Max. Bradley knew his father's view on people like Max.
Bradleys dad glared down at him.
"How has your grades been? Any girlfriends yet?" He asked coldly.
Bradley felt a pang of anxiety upon his father's question, but tried to maintain a steady voice.
"My grades have been good, father. Straight A's, like usual."
He hesitated at the mention of girlfriends, knowing his father's preference for him having a girlfriend.
"And, uh...no, no girlfriend yet."
His father's looked slightly disappointed and scoffed.
"Hm? All that money and you still struggle to get a women of your own, no?" He said coldly.
Bradley felt a pang of frustration at his father's comments and tried to maintain his composure, knowing that arguing with his dad would lead nowhere.
