Chapter 5 - Realization

Here we are, at the capital. It took us about days to get here.. haha, sorry Uros, might take us longer for a while =w=. Anyway, for some reason, the name of the capital is really familiar to me. I can't put my finger on what though.. Crocus.. hmm, whatever, maybe I'm just paranoid since I've watched, played, and read too many fantasy genres.

The capital was fantastic and very huge. I should probably get a map of the place. Like, the whole place, the whole country.

Rikki & Nikki seems to be enjoying themselves. Speaking of which, I should probably buy them some decent clothes. That way, they won't be walking around with just their fur out. Plus, I know how it feels like to have my fur sticky and unclean.. hahaha.. that was the worst..

Speaking of which.. how old would Minerva be now, again? I'm kinda forgetting it. Although it seems she still knows me considering that she is always excited to see me even if it's just my astral projection. I never really went back to that house physically. Just in my spiritual body.

Hmm, I'm still 8 years old and it's only been 2 months now right? Minerva is younger than me by 8 years. She's 6 months old when she was brought into the house and I had only turned 8 back then. Add 2 months, then she's only 8 months old. She's turning 1 in four months. What gift should I give her?

Anyways, other than that, everything is going well hehehe. There should probably be no problem coming in our way~

"I'm telling you, I would like to register my clan and territory." I said with irritation.

"And I'm telling you little girl, you can't meet the king." The knight/guard said.

"Hey, wait, what's that?!" I shouted, pointing the opposite direction which made the knight look. "Ha! Dumbass!" I snickered as i ran past him and got into the throne room with the knights following me.

"Your majesty! Forgive us, this little girl was persistent on meeting you."

"Oh? Why do you wanna meet me, little miss?" the king, who looks awfully familiar, asked me.

"I want to register my clan, my territory, and my guild." I said, confidently. "And if you don't do so, well then.." I slowly show my Kistune form which made the knights on guard "I have no trouble with doing it by force~"

"Hm. Let down your weapon, men." the king said. "But sire!" the knight insisted and I glared at him making him shut up.

"Why should I let a kid, let alone a fox demon, like you, live in this kingdom?"

"I'm actually a half-human. Anyway, we can talk this out without any violence if you want. As long as we have a deal."

"Oh? Do explain more. Have a seat." the king said as he asks me to sit across him and then I look at the knights that are there "You are all dismissed." the king motioned.

"Let's talk, shall we, your majesty?" I said, sitting on the chair with my leg crossed over the other.

"First of all, how old are you?"
"I'm 8 years old."
"Just turned or turning soon?"
"Just turned. About two months ago."
"And why do you want to register all of what you had said?"

"Because I had ran away from my house because of some family issues. Speaking of which, I wish to register two new identities along with all these. No need to know my family name but if you do try to find out, sooner or later, you'll find either your heart or your head in my claws."

"Now, the territory I'm talking about is a barren wasteland that's also unnamed. If you let me register it into my account, I will let you be a V.I.P. in there and you can have whatever meals, desserts, or technology I will build and improve in there for free."
