Chapter 7 - Unexpected guests

It's been 2 months since Gray has joined. Of course, I have had been teasing him a lot since then. It was very fun. His reactions are all so funny and expected. Fufufu~

Though, for some reason, these past 2 months after I had come back from Rosenburg.. I've been staying in my fox form lately and have been craving a lot of.. weird food combinations which for some reason tastes good but then I'd be puking later.

Not only that, I've been grooming myself lately. Especially in my tummy.. I kinda feel like I've also been gaining weight and my tummy looks much chubbier in my fox form.

My mood swings have also been way worse. I had also been feeling weak and heavy for these two months. My instincts as a fox also keeps messing with me like hunting much more often than usual. Gramps and Lax-nii took notice of my unusual odd behavior.

"Yuu-chan, wake up"
"5 more minutes. . ." - Yunnie
"You already said that like, 5 hours ago. . ."
"Nikki, that's no use. You won't be able to wake Yunnie up with just that."
"But Rikki.. doesn't she have something she needs to do?" - Nikki

"I have a bad feeling about this.." - Nikki
"I mean, she used to always pounce on us when we're asleep so. . ." - Rikki

"I don't think you have to wake her up anymore.. and you might need to turn around.." Nikki said, sweating nervously
"Huh" Rikki wondered as he turn around only to find a Yunnie, sitting up with a very bad mood and an evil face holding a hand on her head, leaning against it

"What time is it? And what day?" I asked.
"It's 10am and it's 16th of April." Nikki said.
"Oh.. Thanks for reminding me Niks."
"No problem, anytime." - Nikki

I get up, get ready, and went downstairs. The guild is very lively as usual. Cana-chan is still as cute as ever. I also see Gray there who's.. sitting in a table near Lax-nii.

"Hm? are you going somewhere, fluffball?"
"Yep. I'mma be back later in the evening, maybe around midnight."
"Alright then, see ya later loser."
"Hey, that's my line, Lax-nii. No stealing."

"Huh? You're letting her go until that late at night? Isn't it dangerous especially since to a young girl like her?" Gray asked, with both confusion and worry.

"It's fine~ I can handle myself." I assured.
"What she said." Lax-nii said. Haysst..
"No way! Isn't she too young to go on her own without protection?!" Gray exclaimed.

"Um, well excuse you, but you seem to have forgotten that I'm older than you."

"Yeah! By a year! That still makes you only 8 years old and still too young! Let me come with you!"

"No thanks. Like I said, I can handle it on my own. Plus, this is my business. So stay out of it, icecube." I said, crossing my arms over my chest at him in a very sassy way.

That made him shut up. I then walk out of the guild and went on my way. In the end, Gray had followed me to where I was going.

Of course, I had caught him. "You really had to follow me, didn't you?" I asked as I pinned him to a wall in the corner. "Haha.. so uhm.. who was that person? The grave, I mean." he asked nervously. "When I had insisted you to join the guild, I told you that gramps was my adoptive grandpa, right?"

"Uh-huh?" he said with confusion. "That was the grave of my older brother. My biological one from that house that I had ran away from." I said as I let go of him.
