It was just ordinary at The Figure eight for Coraline Prescott- The young girl was sitting on the beach looking through her camera lens trying her best to capture the moment of two seagulls eating the piece of bread she had drop for them. Coraline liked to wake up early in the morning to take pictures anywhere on the island. Today, she had picked the boneyard. She usually likes to come to the boneyards for photos because there always a nice a view.

She heard a raucous noise pulling up to the beach. She crinkled her nose annoyed that her peaceful time to herself was interrupted by irritating boy who can't keep quiet in the morning. She begins to pack up her items, before slowly making her way towards the parking lot. "Is that Coraline Prescott! The second kook princess?" Her eyes met the widen eyes of JJ Maybank.

"JJ?" Her mouth drop seeing the blond boy rush over with his surfboard. "Long time no sees." He rubs his mouth staring up and down at the dirty blonde who smells like bouquet of flowers with a hint of sage. "We seen each other not that long ago Maybank." He scratched his nose looking away before giving the girl a look. "Well, that's when you were with your bodyguards and the other kook princess." "I'm not a kook neither princess." She denied his comment.

"You couldn't fool me by the look of it you went full kook." He nagged her one more time. "Just because I moved to Figure eight doesn't make me kook or a princess. I grown up the cut, I spent my whole life there." He smirked before looking down. "Well, you were eager to move there and forget about your life on the cut." Silence between the two blondes standing in the middle of the beach. All you could hear is the waves starting to form, tourist and locals starting to pull up.

"That's what I thought." He sniffed while rubbing his nose. "What is your problem? You came up and approached me. Why is that?" She hissed making the boy put his hands in the air. "Just want to catch up with an old friend." He said looking to the side of Coraline before clearing his throat. "Your royal guard in here princess." He paused before picking up his surfboard. "And I think you need a little touch up with the roots." He smirked before running to the water.

Coraline turn around touching her hair before seeing Rafe walking towards her with a red facial expression. Before she knew it, he was pulling her towards him, gripping her waist tightly like he was pinching her. She shrieked at his touch "Rafe!" She tried to get his hands off her but couldn't since he was stronger than her. "You are hurting me" She mutter as she faked smile while tourist walk by them, not wanting attention on them.

Rafe removed his grip off her waist to her arm as he picked up her items. Coraline frowned her eyebrows looking back towards the beach as they moved to the park a lot. "Get in." He commanded while opened his car door aggressively. Coraline jumped as he slammed to door shut her leg started shaking.  Coraline was scared of his actions. Rafe wasn't a violent guy whatsoever but recently he won't be afraid to hit her. He had told her it was "accident", and she believed him because never in their two years of knowing him he had never acted out with anger. Till she found out the reason why he has been acting like this.
