Chapter 24: First Mission In The Omega World

Third Person POV:

Time: 1948

Location: Omega World

The Omega world's Valorant agents were now on the jet to a site they thought they wouldn't have to visit for a while, codenamed 'Lotus'. Liam was currently on the jet along with Sage, Astra, Jett and of course, Breach. Liam didn't care much about him because if he was going to act out that was his own issue, doesn't mean it wasn't annoying for him though. They were all sitting on the seats connected to the jet with everyone but Liam sitting on one side together, before when they all got on the jet Sage sat down first and Liam chose to sit as far away from her as possible and no one else wanted to sit with him. Liam noticed the glances he was getting from Sage and he already knew why he was getting them, he also saw Breach giving him some looks, mainly of disgust though. A 'ding' was then heard throughout the ship as all the agents received more information, their counterparts were getting closer to the site but they also got information on who they were going up against. Sage then looked up fully before addressing the people in the jet.

Sage: Agents, as you all now know we have more information, it looks like the agents they are sending will be 'Raze', 'Sova', 'Reyna', 'Chamber' and 'Viper'. I do not know why they came here today specifically because it has been weeks since we last sent a strike team to their world. I assume they're coming off some sort of victory in their world so we have to be careful, they may have a trick up their sleeve.

Liam was studying the Phantom in his hands while Sage was talking, as well as ensuring every piece of his utility was there, including his ghost which he picked up before he left the scorched room.

Breach: Pfft, new guy isn't even listening.

Liam: I hear everything Breach, you should know that.

Breach: And what's that supposed to mean?

Liam: Every time you guys tried to find me back then I was always one step ahead of you because of how fucking loud you are.

Right before Breach could snap back Sage quickly stepped in.

Sage: Enough! We need to be a team and our world is at stake here, are you both going to threaten that by arguing between yourselves.

Breach let out a small 'sorry' while Liam just put his hood up over his head and leaned back in his chair. Sage let out a sigh before hearing the jet slow down signaling that they're approaching the destination.

Pilot: We're here!

The side doors then opened as the entire team stood up and jumped out of the jet as Liam analyzed the place he was in, it felt calming with the night sky and the gentle breeze, the place looked more natural than man made as well, something felt off to him though. He didn't mean it as a bad thing, but he felt like there was more to this place than meets the eye, a lot more.
