Chapter 13

Connor's POV

After we got off the plane and I hugged my sister I saw Troye looking at his phone all the time but he seems out of sorts too. I need to ask him when we are alone what is going on.

In the meantime I just make an excuse that he is tired as he hasn't been well. Which isn't a lie he hasn't been well. He went through hell last week and I have only just gotten him back.

As we get to my mum's house I tell Nicola that I will just get Troye settled in the bed in my old room.

I do that and ask him what is wrong and he doesn't know. I leave it at that and tell him I might lay down with him later.

I head downstairs to help Nicola with the bags and she says is he ok. I say Nic I don't know he was in shock for a few days last week. He is a police officer and he saw something that made him go into shock. I will try to talk to him before dinner. She nods her head and says you love him don't you.

I cant help the smile that comes to my face and say yes I do. Very much. He has changed me and I know he loves me and I changed him too.

I tell her that I'm going to talk to him and take our bags up.

I walk into the room with our bags and see Troye asleep on the bed but holding his phone as well. I go to move the phone but cant help but see the message that is on the screen.

I gasp as I read the message. Is it any wonder he is like he is. I would be to if the same thing happened to me.

I gently run my fingers through his curly hair and say babe wake up. He looks up at me and mumbles what.

I tell him we need to talk and I show him his phone. He looks at his lap and says I'm sorry I didn't know how to tell you, babe I want to go to the funeral but I'm not strong enough by myself.

I tell him that I will go with him when he finds out when it is.

I look at him and say why didn't your parents ring you and tell you.

I see tears form in his eyes and he says they abandoned me when I was born so my grandparents bought me up.

I move him so he is cuddling into me and I say babe Im so sorry I wouldn't have bought it up if you had told me earlier. He looks up at me and says I didn't want you to look at me any different.

I say to him come on, you need to shower, he smiles at me and says only if you will join me. I couldn't help the smile that came to me and said don't see why not.

After we had a steamy shower that got steamerer as it went we got out just in time for mum to call us for dinner.

I grab his hand and say dinner is ready and mum is dying to meet you. He stalls for a bit until I pull him back into my arms and say she is going to love you. I know Nicola already does.

During dinner my family all talk to Troye about how he loves the police force and has been to any bad accidents. I feel him stiffen beside me and I say he has but we don't talk about them he not long got over a severe case of shock that left him very depressed.

I turn to my younger brother Brandan and ask him how school is going.

I needed to get off the subject of Troye and his severe case of shock.

I grab his hand under the table and squeeze it tight letting him know that I am here for him.

After dinner Troye and I went back up to my old room as we needed to talk more about his family.

After we sat on the bed I pulled him back into my arms and said Baby I will go to the funeral with you but why did you think I would look at you any different. I love you and I will never look at you any differently. I just think it's sad that your parents could do that. Now find out when the funeral is and we will go over to Australia for the funeral. I will be beside you every step of the way.

The next morning I woke up with Troye's head on my chest. I lean down to kiss the top of his head and decide that I'm going to take him out for the day. I will see if I can take mum's car. I will take her to work then we can go from there.

I wiggle out from under my gorgeous boyfriend and walk out to talk to mum. I find her in the kitchen and ask her if I can take her car as I want to take Troye out for the day and show him a bit of the town. She agrees and tells me she will be ready in 30 minutes.

I run upstairs to my room and run in to see Troye just waking up.

I walked over and said hey gorgeous go and get dressed I'm taking you out for the day.

Troye gets up after he kisses my lips and says where are we going? I grab his hand and say I'm just showing you some sights and the places I used to hang out when I lived here.

Now go and get that sexy body dressed.

After we dropped mum off to work we headed to a little cafe to have breakfast then we went to the movies.

We sat in the back of the theatre and didn't watch any of the movies. What can I say? I have a gorgeous boyfriend sitting beside me who has been through a lot and is still going through a lot.

After a fun filled day we went back to an empty house.

I led Troye back up to my room and sat beside him on the bed.

I turn to Troye and say babe I want to try something. I want to try and be a top and take care of you for a change. Troye looks at me and nods his head and says okay let's try it. You never know, I might enjoy it.

Smut

I lean over and kiss Troye whilst taking his shirt off then kiss down to his sweet spot.

After we have our clothes off troye says baby lock the door please I don't want anyone walking in.

I get up and lock the door then grab the lube from my bag that I packed.

We didn't need a condom as we both got tested and we were clean which I knew we would be as we never slept around.

I lube up my fingers and made my way down to Troyes entrance. I inserted 1 finger then another and a third when I knew he was ok.

I pushed in him slowly and waited until he adjusted to start moving.

I thrust in and out of him, setting a rapid pace. I must admit I like this better.

Before long I could feel that unruly heat in the pit of my stomach and I say babe I'm not going to last much longer.

Before Troye can say anything I feel him clench around me and come between us.

I came just as Troye did and we both collapsed on the bed.

As we came down from our highs I pulled out of him and grabbed a cloth to clean us up.

Just as I got back on the bed I heard the front door slam shut and I turned to Troye and said " lucky you told me to lock the door."

Troye nods his head and says yeah do you want me to go see who it is.

I was about to say no but Nicola beat me to it and said Troye can I see you for a minute.

I look at Troye rather puzzled and say do you want me to go? Troye shakes his head and says no it's ok.
