Sophie didn't know what was happening, no up, no down, no left, no right, just stuck at one spot. Muffled shouts filled the air and she opened her eyes screaming.
"Sophie! Sophie! It's me Keefe!" Keefe shouted grabbing her hand.
"Where am I?" Sophie asked looking around at the familiar walls of the healing center.
"You were practically dead for the past three weeks!" Keefe said, the triplets ran over to her and Edaline was holding Emmy.
"Soph, dear, you're awake!" Edaline said sitting on a chair.
"What, I was gone for about two seconds," Sophie said.
"No honey, it's been about three weeks," Grady said walking over.
"What?" Sophie asked.
"Yeah, what happened?" Elwin asked.
Sophie explained what happened, they were the best audience, they gasped at all the right moments, a sob came out of everyone.
"That Ritz Cracker!" Keefe said, everyone looked at him.
Sophie laughed, "that's right, so in the forbidden cities there is a food called 'Ritz Savory Cracker' it rhymes with Fitz Avory Vacker" Sophie said laughing.
Everyone in the room started laughing, all of Sophie's friends also walked in. They talked with each other, laughed, and they gave Sophie paper work from the council.
"I am gone for three weeks and all I get from my colleagues is paperwork! It's a scandal!"
Keefe and everyone else started laughing.
I know this was short but I am going to eat dinner soon and I am typing as fast as I can. I love you all and I'm sorry for not posting sooner, I was rereading Exile, (I did cry) and I started reading Mark of Athena and wow I love that book. Bye peeps, I love you all 🩷
