Five, The planting

The next day Sophie got into an emerald green dress with an emerald green cape with the Ruewen crest.
She walked out of the bedroom and went downstairs. She opened the drawers and pulled out the stuff to make mallowmelt.
Keefe and Sophie made it a tradition to eat mallowmelt on their anniversary.
Keefe walked downstairs in emerald green clothes. He sniffed the air. "Oh Foster that smells better than Edaline's mallowmelt!"
"Keefe can we dye it green?" Sophie asked in a small voice.
"Yeah," Keefe said looking down.
"K-keefe," Sophie studderd.
"Yeah Foster."
"I'm g-gonna tell y-y-you something and you c-can't tell anyone y-yet." Sophie said through tears.
"You can tell me anything. I will keep it a secret." Keefe told her wiping the tears of her face.
"Remember when we were looking for my biological parents. Well when Oralie helped me control my enhancing I found out she was my biological mother. I have sent a scroll to Bronte but I told him to tell the rest of the world she is my biological mother, but not today. I asked him to do it in a few months."
Sophie finished making the green mallowmelt. She grabbed two slices and gave the bigger one to Keefe.
They walked to the leap master in silence. They stood at the leap master waiting and waiting and waiting.
"Wondering woods" Sophie whisperd. The crystals moved.
Sophie and Keefe stepped into the light.
They walked to Kenric's wondering. The planting was happening right next to it.
The councilors stood where the wonderling would be. They planted the tree and people lined up to give the counselors their grieving and whatnot. Sophie wasn't playing attention. She was sobbing so hard if she took a deep breath it might choke her.
"Sophie are you okay?" Keefe asked. "We can leave early if you want."
"Yes p-p-please" Sophie whisperd trying to take a step. That little movement made her lose balance and fall hitting her head on a rock.
She heard someone calling for help. She saw ice blue eye look in to hers.
"I love you Keefe," Sophie whisperd.
"I love you too Sophie. Please stay with me." He begged.
The last thing she felt was the tickling sensation of light leaping before everything went black.
