'If you look a little more, you'll notice that your mother and your potential boyfriend aren't that different.'
That sentence echoed in Boun's mind. Should he really take a closer look at the situation? He glanced at the person coming down the stairs in lighter clothes, drying his hair with a white towel. Prem locked eyes with him, and a faint smile appeared on Prem's face. He walked over to Boun and sat beside him on the sofa. His aunt had gone to the kitchen to help his mother prepare the food.
Prem stared at him and saw the older one's eyes a bit lost in his direction. He couldn't contain the shyness that always crept in whenever he noticed Boun putting his bright eyes on him.
"What's up? Why do you have that dazed look?" Boun flicked Prem's forehead. "What's wrong?"
"The only dazed one here is you," Prem laughed at Boun's comment. "Do you remember what I told you about my mother?"
"I remember."
"So, my aunt said that you and my mother are similar in personality," Prem nodded. "What do you think?"
"Well, I don't know her well yet, but she seems a bit reserved. If she's anything like me... um... you can say she's a bit similar in the aspect of not knowing how to express herself. She might be more affectionate than me, just not knowing how to say it."
"You're affectionate," Boun pulled Prem by the arm and gave him a hug. They stayed in that embrace, and Prem didn't want to let go of the blond, but...
"I think you should talk to her. We came here for that, talk to her."
"I'll do that. Thank you."
"We're in this together," Boun laughed at the brunette's phrase, and Prem joined in.

"This is really good; I love chicken," Prem said, and Boun's mother seemed surprised, allowing a small smile to escape. Boun observed her.
"I'm glad you liked it. Boun used to love eating this when he was younger," his aunt spoke.
"I still love it, Aunt."
"I've never had chicken this good before."
"Not even at your mom's?" Boun's mother asked. Immediately, Boun looked at Prem anxiously, seeing the calm expression of the brunette cool a bit. He was about to say something when Prem looked back at the lady.
"My mom wasn't good in the kitchen," he smiled a little. Boun tried to read any sign of anxiety on his face, but he seemed calm, returning to eating, and his serene expression returned.
"Then you can come here and eat whenever you want," Boun's aunt had a cheerful energy, just like the blond. Prem smiled at her.
Dinner was peaceful; they chatted and got to know each other a bit more. Boun enjoyed being there with the people he loved, even though his friends were missing. He liked seeing Prem interact and laugh casually with others, and he loved seeing his mother's smiles, whether they were directed at the conversation or at Prem, even at him.
They went upstairs after helping to clean up. Prem flopped onto the bed and looked at Boun, giving a mischievous little smile to the blond, who quickly stepped back.
"Don't even think about it, you pervert," Boun took a few steps back. "You seem to be running on 220 volts. I haven't recovered from the three times we did it in my car."
Prem pouted. "I was excited, but Boun, know that I have a lot of energy, okay, handsome? I can keep you awake all night." He crawled on the bed toward Boun, who felt his body shiver at the sight.
