Chapter 5

Chapter 5:

Jacey's POV

I started panicking. Liam Payne was about to kiss me. Obviously I wanted it to happen, but not with a stupid party game. Everyone turned to look at me and I could feel my cheeks burning red as Liam leaned closer to me. I stopped to look over at Brittany who had her phone out and was probably recording the kiss. I looked back at Liam who was smiling at me. I moved closer to him and kissed him. His lips were soft and warm. A smile spread across my lips but quickly faded as we began to spread apart. We stared at each other until Liam spun the bottle again. I didn't pay much attention to what happened after the kiss Liam and I shared. It was perfect. I felt sparks fly when our lips touched. I wanted him even more.

The rest of the night went by really fast. We left the party house at about 12:30am. The girls took a taxi but Liam invited me to ride with him and that he would actually take me to my house, not the apartment.

"Sooooo," he said, "did you enjoy the party?" He asked.

"Yeah it was fun." I answered

simply.

"That's good."

"So where do you live?" he said asked a moment of silence.

"My house is on the next street" I replied.

He nodded.

After another minute or so we reached my house.

"Whoa, your house is huge" he said as he pulled into the parking lot.

"Not really.. you haven't been inside it."

"Can I be?" He asked as he stepped out of the car.

"No, my parents are home and don't know who you are plus I have to work tomorrow." I said firmly.

"Oh. You could have told me that you had work and I wouldn't have taken you to the party."

"It's fine." I said.

"Ok, at least let me walk you to the door." He suggested as he put his hand out. I hesitated but ended up taking it.

As we made our way to the door I began to shiver a bit.

"Here." Liam said placing his big leather jacket round me.

I smiled. "Thanks."

"I'm leaving tomorrow to go finish the tour," he said. "I'll miss you. A lot."

"Well, we have text" I suggested.

He laughed. "Yeah, we do."

We spent the next minute or two staring at each other when suddenly, he pressed his lips onto mine. When he backed away my heart dropped.

"Bye" he said as he walked off.

He looked like he was about to cry as he made his way back to his car. After standing outside my door for awhile thinking about how perfect Liam was I realized that I didn't have my house keys with me. I bent down and reached under the welcome mat for the spare keys. As I got back up I felt that I was being watched. I turned around to see that Liam's car was still parked in the driveway. I felt relived and creeped at the same time. I unlocked the door and waved a goodbye to Liam before sticking the key back under the mat. I closed the door behind me as I got inside my welcoming home.

"Wow." I breathed.
