Chapter 10 - The Wave Mission Pt 2

Kakashi and his genin looked on confused, one moment, Kakashi was winning the battle for sure, the next, Zabuza is caught with two senbon in the neck. Team 7 moved closer, but suddenly...

A Kiri ANBU suddenly dropped down in front of the team. "Thank you. I've been chasing Zabuza-san for quite a while. You've made the capture that much easier." Spoke the ANBU as Kakashi checked foor a pulse on the Kirigakure no Kijin, only to find nothing. "Yep, he's definitely dead. Alright. Thank you ANBU-san." Spoke Kakashi.

"I thank you. I'll be off now." Spoke the ANBU as he took Zabuza's body and disappeared into the trees. "Ok guys. Now let's get-" Before Kakashi could finish his sentence, exhaustion suddenly overcame him as his body slumped and fell. Before the man could hit the ground, Ryouta with the help of some Moku Bunshin caught the cyclops Jōnin.

"Tazuna-san. How far is your house?" Asked Sasuke. "It's not far from here, we should be able to get there in an hour." Tazuna said as the genin nodded and ran as fast as they could while guarding Tazuna.

Team 7 reached the house in 40 minutes as Tazuna knocked on the door, clearly out of breath. After a couple seconds, a tall woman opened the door, a happy expression on her face and a kid hugging her leg tightly.

"Tou-chan!" She exclaimed as the kid looked up at the man. "Jiji!!" The boy exclaimed as he ran into Tazuna's arms. "Ohoho! Inari-kun, Tsunami-chan. We're going to be okay. These ninja accepted my mission to free the wave of Gatō's rule." Tazuna explained as Tsunami turned to the three genin.

"Thank you for helping my father." She said politely. "No problem. We also need a room to allow our sensei to rest." Ryouta spoke. "Ah. Follow me." Tsunami said as she led the genin and Ryouta's clones into the house.

1 Day Later-
Kakashi sprung up from his Fuuton and looked around, remembering what happened. 'Damn. Chakra exhaustion.' The jōnin thought before looking towards the door, seeing his genin students walk in.

"Sensei, you're awake!" Sakura exclaimed as Kakashi winced. "Maa maa, Sakura. Do you need to be so loud?" Kakashi asked as Sakura looked down in embarrassment.

"Anyway guys. We need to train immediately. I have an inkling that Zabuza isn't actually dead." Kakashi said as his genin looked at him shocked. "But the hunter-nin-" Sakura started.

"He took the body. I read that ANBU are supposed to destroy the body and take the head, but that hunter-nin took the whole body. Also the fact that he used Senbon, which are very hard to kill someone with. He must've put Zabuza in a death like state and tricked us into thinking he killed Zabuza." Ryouta analysed perfectly.

"That is incredibly accurate, and exactly what I was going to say. Yes. Zabuza is alive, which is why we need to start training immediately." Kakashi explained.

"But sensei, how are you going to train us if you're incapacitated?" Sakura asked Kakashi as he smiled. "Do you three know of the Tree-Climbing exercise?" Kakashi asked. "Hai. Me and Sasuke have completed all the chakra control exercises." Ryouta said.

"Ah. Well. I guess I'll help Sakura with the tree climbing exercise. What kind of training do you guys want?" Asked Kakashi.

"Can I have a couple of Katon Ninjutsu scrolls to train with, once I've finished with those then I'll train my taijutsu." Sasuke said.

"I'll be experimnting with Fūinjutsu while my clones do some light training." Ryouta said as Kakashi nodded.

A secluded area in the forest-
Ten of Ryouta's Moku Bunshin stood behind one with multiple scrolls. "Alright, I'll give you guys some jutsus of each element I picked from the library back at home and you work on those while I study Tobirama-ojisan's Hiraishin." Ryouta spoke as the clones nodded each of them separating.
