Chapter 11 - Chūnin Exams

Team 7 were now back from the C turned A ranked mission and were exhausted, even the usually exuberant Senju was in need of a shower and a rest.

Said brown haired boy had just put all of the money into the Senju accounts and is now at home.

2 months later-
After the Wave Mission, Ryouta's energy was replenished and he was ready to partake on another mission.

The team had took a total of 3 more missions and Ryouta had just got back from a C-Rank mission, in which he had to deliver scrolls to a local village.

As he finished dressing up by wearing his final sandal, he heard his name being called. "Ryouta-kun! Your sensei is here for you." Senju Kiyo exclaimed as Ryouta walked down the spiralling stairs and to the entrance, seeing Kakashi stood at the door.

"See you later Kaa-chan!" Ryouta said his goodbyes to his mother, who smirked and laid kisses all over his face.

"Kaa-chan." Ryouta stated in an embarassed tone while his sensei watched with a sense of amusement. "Have fun, Ryouta-kun. I believe in you." Kiyo stated as she let go of her son.

'What is she going on about?' Ryouta thought in confusion as he mentally shrugged. "Arigatō-gozaimasu." He replied as Kiyo smiled warmly.

Ryouta went to walk with his sensei. "Nice house." Kakashi stated, referring to the three story mansion buillt by Senju Hashirama himself.

"Yeah. Why did you come here directly?" Ryouta asked while he and Kakashi took a walk around the clan compound, security greeting Ryouta with the utmost respect as he passed.

"I came here to give you this." Kakashi stated while pulling out an entrance slip for the chūnin exams. Ryouta widened his eyes as he took the slip.

"Chūnin exams? When are they?" Ryouta asked curiously as he read the information on the slip. "In about a week." Kakashi responded as Ryouta nodded.

"Well, I'm sure you know that I'm all up for it." Ryouta stated with a smirk as Kakashi eye smiled. "Of course, that's why I cane to your house first. Anywho, I'm off to Sakura and Sasuke's houses, meet me at Training Ground 7 in three hours." Kakashi stated as he shunshined out of the compound.

'Three hours huh? I wonder, how is Naruto doing? I haven't seen that knucklehead in a while. I'm sure the next time I see him would be at the Chūnin Exams.' Ryouta thought as he went to train.

With Naruto-
The blond arrived at the Hokage's office with a megawatt smile on his face. "Hey Hokage-jiji! Just finished the mission you gave me and Jiraiya-sensei." Naruto stated as he walked into his Hokage's office.

"Naruto my boy! Always a pleasure when you come and visit this old man. Where is Jiraiya-kun?" Hiruzen asked the Uzumaki, whose mood immediately went sour, remembering what happened when he and his sensei had finally set foot in Konoha after a long mission.

Flashback-
"Oi, Ero-sennin. We need to go report our mission to Hokage-jiji." Naruto stated as he looked at the spot his sensei was prior to him mentioning anything.

"Ehhh?!!" Naruto exclaimed in surprise, seeing a large green toad in place of Jiriaya. "Ero-sennin!"

Present Time-
"That Ero-sennin probably went to spy on little girls again, 'ttebayo! Bakana hentai!" Naruto exclaimed while folding his arms and looking away.

'Even when he has matured so much, he still can't seem to get rid of that verbal tick and that exuberant attitude. I'm glad though. If he lost this trait, then he wouldn't be Naruto Uzumaki at all.' Hiruzen thought while mentally noting the leaps and bounds Naruto made ever since graduating from the academy.
