I turned around towards the door as I heard Bri shriek.

"Bri!?" I yelled out. I darted towards the door.

"Kat wait!" Julian yelled behind me.

"Are you okay?" I yelled. I ran out of the room and stood in the mini lobby. I turned to the room next to the room we were just in. I was about to enter when Bri, Gigi and Cole suddenly ran out of the room, closing the door shut behind them.

My blood froze. "What happened?"

Bri stepped away from the door. "Someone was in there!"

"What?" Kenji frowned. "Who?"

"I don't know! Something moved in there, I couldn't see what!" Cole panted.

"I felt something graze my arm!" Gigi whined.

Something clicked inside my brain. Could it be that person who wrote the letter? Or some supernatural being, or just our fear getting into our minds?

I looked down at the parchment paper and the normal piece of paper that were in my hands. Could it really be?"

"We need to get out of here, now." Cole urged.

"Kat, you have the paper, right?" Julian asked.

I looked at Julian. I nodded. "Yeah, here." I handed him the paper.

"This might be a clue on how to escape this dimension." Julian unfolded the paper and showed it to Cole, Bri, and Gigi. "We need what is on the fourth floor."

"But what about Abby?" Bri asked.

Suddenly, Julian froze. He groaned. "How are we going to deal with two important situations at the same time?"

I gave a sigh. "I think we should split up now."

Everyone looked at me. "What?" Bri blurted out. "Are you crazy?"

I heard creaking noises from across the hallway, only adding to the eerie effect this building had upon us. I shook my head. "We have two equally important situations to deal with, like Julian said. If we split up, we can get two of those situations done with." I stepped forward. "It might sound insane, but it'll work."

"But what if one of us gets lost or something?" Kenji asked. "Which is highly likely."

"Then yell out a secret code, like..." I thought about a word that we could use. I tapped my finger onto my chin. "Elevator."

Gigi giggled. "Seriously? That's the best you got?"

"Well, yeah." I shrugged my shoulders. "That's all I got now."

Julian shook his head. "You're creativity skills are lacking."

I hit his shoulder. "Shut up." I sighed in annoyance. "Now, we have to split up into three groups of two. One group searches from the this floor until floor seven, the second group searches on floors seven through five, while the other group searches for the games on floor four."

I looked at everyone else. "I'll search for the game on floor four, who wants to go search for the clues on the lobby floor?"

Gigi raised her hand. "Me and Bri will go." Gigi grabbed Bri's hand and raised it in the air.

"Yeah, I'll go." Bri smiled, a hint of worriedness evident on her face.

"Me and Cole will search on floors two and three." Kenji crossed his arms across his chest.

I nodded. "Good." I smiled. "So that leaves me and Julian to search for the games on floor four then." A tucked a hair strand behind my ear. "Once Bri and Gigi arrive on floor seven, go down to floor five, and wait for Kenji and Cole." I paused. "Once all four of you guys are done, skip floor four and search floors five through the lobby floor, got it?"
