Joslin's friend from school, Penny Proud, and her friends are gathered to watch Iesha at her house, themselves dubbed as the Iesha Fan Club. Oscar intervenes as his Proud Snacks commercial is also due to broadcast on the channel. However, the show is announced to have been canceled and replaced with another show, while Oscar's commercial is interrupted by breaking news about the cancellation.

Penny, Oscar, and friends decide to boycott Wizard Kelly's services and protest around his establishments, although they're chased off by security every time while Oscar is given the painful threats Wizard ends up winning their affections anyway with his donuts, then claims that he has no power to bring the show back, and he's upset about it gone, too. Penny still doesn't give up. As Oscar's commercial is supposed to come on again, it is replaced with another breaking news interruption with Penny on a billboard, refusing to come down until Iesha is renewed. As Trudy keeps demanding Oscar to help her get down, Oscar's only worried about Proud Snacks publicity. Soon enough, Iesha is uncancelled, and Penny and her friends get to be a part of the show.

As Trudy, Oscar, Suga Mama, and BeBe and CeCe go on a tour ride around the studio, Penny and friends meet Iesha herself, Sunny Stevens Although she has an attitude and is mean to Penny. When Penny screws up her line while filming, Sunny storms to her trailer. Penny finds her crying at her vanity table and stressed about not being able to go to school, get a burger, be average looking and hang out with friends and having to work on the show, but Penny talks to her and says her fun years should be more focused and invites Sunny to go to the beach along with her friends. Later on, Oscar tunes into his Proud Snacks product placement on My Momma and Me, although the representation is just as one would expect.
