It was your first day back from the school break and honestly you were happy to be back, you were just hoping life was heading back to its normal course.
As you walked through the corridors of Jooshin high, teachers and students greeted you with a smile. It was a nice sight, having people smile in your direction rather than fearfully bow like they did to your cousin. That's right, you have a cousin and not just any random boy at Jooshin High but the Kim Rian , son of the Jooshin group. But that's not why you are so well respected, you're daughter of the Lim group. Asia's biggest tech and software company and even if a person doesn't own a Lim branded phone or computer, their phone has the tech and software made by the Lim group in it. (Such as the battery, the charger and the operating system). It's a true claim to fame.
You arrived to the students lounge, finding your famous cousin already sat there.
"Rian, where's your smile gone?" You asked the boy as you leaned your arms on the back of the sofa across from him. Standing behind the sofa.
"Have you heard anything from Jaei?" He got straight to the point.
"Seriously? That's what you ask me first?"
"She hasn't been replying to my messages for weeks." He let out.
"Wow I didn't realise being dumped hurt you so much." You let out.
"I've not been dumped."
"Then don't be so depressed." He just sent you a glare before softening his look. He couldn't be getting mad at you, after all you weren't doing anything wrong. "Assembly has started, we should attend or both of our mothers with be at our throats." You said as you walked to the door of the lounge, Rian getting up to follow you.
"Where did you go during the break?" He asked as he followed you. His friends following him.
"I was in New York." He just looked at you confused hearing this. Why were you in New York? What business did you have there? It was odd because he was completely unaware and your parents didn't mention it to his mother either.
You stopped in your steps, looking at Rian. You wanted to say something but you felt like it wasn't appropriate.
"What is it?" He asked, stopping too. The two of you looking at each other.
"Nothing, I'll tell you later." You smiled before beginning to walk again.
The boys following you as you walked into the hall. The new scholarship student speaking but pausing as he saw you all enter. An atmosphere about the five of you walking in, well only the two of you at the front carried the true power in the atmosphere. Students watching silently as you both walked to your seats.
"You saw the text , right?" You said looking forward to the stage whilst talking to Hera who you had sat next to.
"Of course... don't you think he's cute?" She said changing subject as she too looked at the new boy. "He kind of reminds me of a puppy." She smiled looking at you. You just let out an amused exhale to her remark.
Once the boy sat down the assembly finished and everyone was excused to leave. But no one dared to move until the signal was given. A few seconds passed before Rian got up and left with a few boys following him. Once he had left everyone else was free to go.
You waited for a majority of people to leave before getting up and going too. Woojin following you out as you did.
"Why are you walking with me?" You asked the boy.
"I was hoping we could talk about before the break." Woojin said with a small smile on his face, however you just looked at him coldly. It wasn't a rare look from you but it was foreign for your friends to see.
