(A/N: omg Ariana's POV I've literally only done one chapter from her POV this should be fun)

~Ariana~

Lyric and Micah were out for the day. Lyric had taken him to a park that had a duck pond, which Micah absolutely adored. He loved ducks.

I had gotten a text about an hour after they had left, for me to meet up with someone at the sushi restaurant Lyric and I used to go to. So, even though it seemed suspicious, I got dressed and drove over there.

Once I stepped inside, I spotted him. Nathan Sykes. I sighed through my nose, not sure why I had spent so much time with him in the first place. I smoothed my skirt down, took a deep breath and headed over.

"Hi Ari," Nathan said quietly.

"Hello Nathan," I replied curtly as I sat down. I could already smell the booze on him.

"I miss you." Despite being tipsy, maybe even drunk, his words didn't slur.

"Nathan," I sighed but he cut me off. "I'm serious," he whined.

"You broke up with me," I reminded him.

"I know," he replied. "But it was stupid of me. I want you back, baby." I shuddered at the pet name but he continued, as if he didn't notice. "Fuck Lyric, fuck everyone else. I want you."

"I love Lyric," I said firmly. "We're getting married, Nathan. I'm not going to leave her. I did love you, a long time ago. Not anymore." Before he could say anymore, I stood up and left. I felt strange as I left. A few years ago, I would've been begging Nate to take me back. Now? I felt strong.

The feeling disappeared as I got a text.

Nathan:

I will get you back, Ariana.

I shivered and climbed in my car quickly. It felt like someone was watching me, and I didn't like it. I unlocked my phone and opened Lyric's contact. If Nathan tried to follow me, I'd call her. She'd know what to do. I sighed and started my car. As I drove away, I saw Nathan conversing with someone in the alley next to the sushi restaurant. They both looked suspicious, but I shrugged them off. It wasn't my business what creeps Nathan hung out with.

When I got home, I looked for something to do. Frankie and I had agreed that he could take the dogs occasionally, since he loved them like I do. Today was one of the days he decided to watch them. Lyric and Micah were out. Lyric had done all the laundry before leaving. I didn't really have anything to do. I walked upstairs to my room and started snooping through Lyric's things. She had a lot of paper work from her job in her bag, which I got bored of fast. How she filled out all that paper work, I've no idea. Then I started going through her closet. Usually I went in there when I wanted to wear some of her clothes, but I'd never been in the back where she kept other personal items. I kind of felt bad for snooping, but I was bored.

I found a giant blue box, so I pulled it out of where Lyric had hid it, and opened it. Inside were probably hundreds of CDs. I gasped and stared in wonder. She had both of my albums, which made me smile. As I kept digging I found CDs from Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men, Bring Me The Horizon, Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, NeverShoutNever, Citizen, Neck Deep, YellowCard. The list just went on and on. I was shocked. I knew Lyric liked music, obviously since she works at a record label, but to this extent? I had no idea.

Eventually, I pulled out a stack of CDs to listen to, so I could start to really understand my fiancée's music taste. On my way out, I grabbed clothes to change into: a Real Friends tank top and sweatpants.
