Alaz froze for a split second, utterly caught off guard. The shock of Asi's sudden, fierce kiss sent a jolt through him, momentarily stunning him. He'd felt the heat between them all night, but he hadn't expected her to make the first move, especially not like this. But any thought of pulling away was immediately forgotten as her lips pressed hungrily against his, igniting a fire in him that he couldn't resist.

Asi's hands flew up to his face, fingers threading through his hair, holding him close as she deepened the kiss. She didn't just kiss him; she devoured him, her lips moving with an urgency that made his head spin. He could taste the sweet tang of alcohol on her breath, mixed with something else, something uniquely Asi that made him crave more.

His hands found her waist, fingers digging into the fabric of her dress as he pulled her closer, their bodies molding together as if they were meant to be. He kissed her with a brutality that matched the storm brewing inside him, his tongue plunging into her mouth, exploring, tasting, claiming.

It was as if they were trying to consume each other, to become one in the heat of the moment. Alaz could feel his control slipping, the rational part of his brain shutting down as he focused solely on her-on Asi, on the way she felt in his arms, the way she tasted on his lips.

She shivered at the feel of his warmth, the hard ridges of his abs, the way his muscles tensed under her touch.
