MIKHAELA'S POV
After we finished eating she immediately told me to get dressed because we were going somewhere.
" Mahal, magbihis ka na dali may pupuntahan tayo " Aiah said.
" Saan naman tayo pupunta, mahal? " I asked her.
" Magbihis ka nalang at magtiwala sakin " She smiled.
I was really curious. Where could we be going, and she seemed excited.
She got dressed first, and I couldn't help but drop my jaw in aw—she looked like a goddess.
" You look stunning, " I said.
" Alam ko namang maganda ako, in love ka na naman sakin " She teased, a playful smile on her lips.
I changed quickly, and we left right away.
The place felt unfamiliar, like I'd never seen it before.
What year is it? It felt I'd stepped back in time.
" Aiah, mahal, anong taon na ngayon? "
" Ikaw makakalimutan ka agad natulog ka lang, 1840 na, mahal "
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Was it really 1840?
First, I have a girlfriend, and now I've traveled back in time? Is this really happening?
I was confused, yet I felt an inexplicable joy being with Aiah.

We had been walking for a while, and I had no idea where we were headed.
But it didn't matter. As long as she held my hand we were together, I would follow her anywhere.
