Chapter 9

MIKHAELA'S POV

We had been walking for a while, and she still hadn't let go of my hand.

It felt like she never wanted to, and my heart was in a joyous turmoil, my lips stuck in a constant smile as I gazed at her.

As we walked, I noticed a strand of red hair at the back of her head, similar to Lola Menchielou's.

After hours of walking, we finally arrived at our destination.

We reached a fair, and I was amazed by how it looked compared to how it is in my time.

I was taken aback when she suddenly asked me to ride the Ferris wheel. I looked closely at the ride, hesitating.

" Sigurado ka bang gusto mong sumakay? " I said.

" Oo naman, takot ka siguro " Aiah teased me.

" Ha? Sinong takot? Baka ikaw yung takot ah " I said to her.

" Kung hindi ka takot, halika na sumakay na tayo " Aiah smiled at me.

She held my hand tightly, pulled me along and we ran toward the Ferris wheel.

Despite my fear, I needed to act cool in front of her.

" Alam kong natatakot ka, kilala kaya kita " She said.

" Hindi ako natatakot mahal " I said bravely.

" Wag mo na itanggi pa, basta kasama mo ako wala kang dapat ipag alala " Aiah saying to me.

After she said that, we got on the ride.

Even though I was scared as we ascended, I enjoyed the view.

" Oh, natatakot ka pa ba, mahal? " She asked.

" May takot pa rin pero dahil kasama ka hindi na ako nag-aalala pa " I said to her.

*TIME SKIP

After a few minutes, we descended and got off.

She immediately took me to a booth where if you knocked down all the gaming cards with a gun, you won a prize.

" Gusto mo ng toy doll? Ikukuha kita " I said with a wink.

" Baka mas magaling pa ako sayo " Aiah teased me.

" Hinahamon mo ba ako? " Mikha said while pinching her eyebrows at Aiah.

" Hmmm, parang ganun na nga " She chuckled.

I had to win that prize. Sorry, Aiah, I'm too competitive.
