"Divine One!!!"
"It's over Alear..."
Alear closed his eyes preparing a deadly blow. But instead, as he fell off on the ground, he heard not one, but two splats. He opened his eyes and was horrified at what he had seen.
He saw Chisen -who grabbed a sword from Diamant- and stabbed the Corrupted Edelgard. But she too was stabbed.
"CHISEEEEEEEEN!!!" Alear shouts in horror.
"Noooo!!!" Veyle panics as well.
"Heh..." Chisen says as blood slowly escapes from her mouth. "I guess I over did it this time huh? Sorry... Emma..."
As Corrupted Edelgard fell to the ground, she too falls and Alear and Edelgard rushes to her side. Why didn't they bring at least someone with staves or healing magic with them?!
"Chisen! Why did you do that?!" Edelgard demands to know why.
"I'm sorry Lady Edelgard... I had to protect the Divine Dragon... He still has a world to return to..." She starts coughing. "Tell Emma... and everyone that my last thoughts... was them..."
Chisen's eyes then closed and the hand that held the sword had let go.
"Chi... Sen...?"
They quickly turned to where Corrupted Edelgard was. She was dying, but had a little bit of her original consciousness left.
Upon realizing what she had done, Corrupted Edelgard silently took of her necklace and gave it to Alear. "Take this... and defeat that Dragon that killed my precious friends..." She says with a hint of sadness.
"This is the Necklace of..." Before Alear could finish, former corrupted Edelgard interrupted him.
"I thank you for setting me free..." She then looks away with her eyes closed. "Tell Emma that I'm sorry for what I have done... and that no matter what, I'll always... be with her..."
Corrupted Edelgard then faded away leaving a sad aura in the room.
"What happened to Sheya?" Leafa asks.
"She retreated." Edelgard says.
"Of course she did." Emblem Alfonse says. "Because she was summoned as a Hero, they are often forced to retreat at times..."
There was silence... How could they tell Emma what had happened to her closest friend and retainer?
"At least we got a necklace back. Let's not let her sacrifice be a waste..."
Alear closes his eyes.
"Guide us, Emblem of Blazing..."
FLASHBACK (Location: Emma and Chisen's world)
"They're all dead... Katrina... mother... father... even Lady Edelgard and Lord Byleth... We lost them..." Chisen says with regret. "I am sorry Emma..."
"No Chisen... It's not your fault..." Emma says while hugging Chisen to comfort her. "Its all that... Dragon's fault. We did nothing to her and yet she attacked us all!"
"What can we do? Its not like we can fight her when she went to another world..."
Suddenly, a blue portal opened.
Emma and Chisen were alarmed and readied their weapons.
They saw a blue-haired girl around their age wearing a white cloak accompanied with an owl on her shoulder.
