Chapter 8. A Mage and a Pokémon Trainer go Goblin slaying.

After thinking about it for a minute i decided to agreed to form a party with YunYun, she's a great adventurer and a very skilled magic user plus she's very responsible and reliable, so i know i can trust her to have my back.

I turned to look at YunYun who was fidgeting very hard right now *she must be fighting her instinct to run away very hard and she must be scared that i would say no*.

"Okay, I'll form a party with you YunYun".

YunYun suddenly sagged and began to turn around to leave "y-yeah... i knew you would say no- wait! did you just say yes!!".

She turned around very quick when she realized that i had said yes to her, she seemed very surprised, so i nodded to confirm to her that i had agreed "yeah, i said yes".

Her red eyes began to glow, as she fist pumped in victory, the whole thing made me chuckle though i begin to think back what i know about her from the anime, if i remember correctly her eyes were a big part of the reason she couldn't find a party since most people got scared when they saw her red eyes glow like that.

*So her eyes really glow when she's happy or excited, i don't know why people think they're scary, they look very cool glowing like that, though i do wonder if mine glow like that too?..*.

[Yes they do and they look super cool! Serafall said so!.]

*Oh that's right she did tell me that on one of our dates*.

YunYun finished celebrating and turn towards me to speak "s-so should we go and take a quest? well if you want that is...".

I smiled at her causing her to blush "you don't have to be so nervous, we're partners now so feel free to ask me or talk to me about anything okay?".

She seemed relieved that i told her that she can speak her mind while i continued speaking "and i already have an ongoing quest, i have to finish it before i can take a new one but if you want you can come with me, we can split the reward in half, what do you say?".

YunYun vigorously nodded "yes! i want to go on a quest with you! err... yeah I'll go with you on your quest".

I chuckled and pat her head causing her to blush embarrassment "then lets go!".

She nodded and together we walked through town towards the town's gate to make our way towards the mine.

Since i decide to form a party with YunYun i chose to walk towards the mine instead of flying, she did ask me why i didn't fly leading me to ask her how she knew i could fly.

She admitted to having been following me the morning i left to take care of the wolves quest causing me to sweatdropped because i was completely clueless about being followed.

But in anycase i explained to her that i wanted to walk to the mines because it would be a great opportunity to get to know each other better.

She nodded and told me about her village, how weird everyone living there is, about her rival and how she's the next in line to be the village leader but she wasn't interested in that position and instead wanted to travel and make a lot of friends.

Then i told her about how i wanted to become strong so i could always be free, about my swordstyle, my Pokemon and the fact that i was a dragonoid.

Surprisingly she accepted everything i said to her and she didn't judge me about not being human, but i really should've have known better, she really is a good girl.

Soon after i introduced her to all of my Pokemon and she fell in love with them, in her words they were really cute and cool.

Umbreon seemed to take a liking to YunYun and even layed on her lap when we camped to eat and rest for a bit, of course YunYun responded with head scratches and back rubbing.
