Chapter 39. The Bell Tolls

As soon as my Pokemon left I disappeared in a blur and immediately headed towards where I can see on the Mini Map Tione, Tiona and Lefiya fighting those weird plant monsters, Violas if I remember correctly, honestly I don't remember much of this situation since it was shown in a off series event but I still hurried to go help them.

I arrived rather quickly and watched as both Tione and Tiona fought bare handed against these monster only to not do anything to them, there were three of these plant monsters and the Amazon twins were trying to keep them away from Lefiya who was trying to cast spell.

But then the Violas slammed Tiona and Tione away and then spat acid at Lefiya who was to busy casting magic to dodge, her eyes widen in shock as she saw the globs of acid head her way while both Tione and Tiona scream her name in worry.

It was here that I decided to intervene, I disappeared in a flash of purple light and reappeared right in front of Lefiya "Reflega!".

A barrier of white light materialized around both me and Lefiya surprising her and the twins, the globs of acid hit my barrier and the spell instantly bounced them back at the monsters, the Violas were hit by their own attacks and let out a horrifying squeal of pain.

I turned my head and gazed at Lefiya from the corner of my eye, she was hurt not by a lot but enough that it was visible, she had a few bruises and cuts, Lefiya snapped out of it and then spoke up "Rean! where did you come from?".

I watched as both Tione and Tiona ran towards Lefiya and then hugged her, both them began to frett of over her while I smiled at them "Eina, a worker of the Guild asked me to hunt down the monsters that escaped from the Feria, my Pokemon and I are going around everywhere looking for them, I saw you guys fighting these three monsters while I was on the rooftops".

The three of them nodded, Lefiya then lightly bowed "thank you Rean, I thought I was done for...".

I nodded at Lefiya and give her a smile to calm her down and then turned towards the Violas "so what are these things? they most be pretty strong if you three are having a hard time fighting them".

I knew what they are of course and where they come from but I needed to pretend like I don't otherwise people might begin to ask questions, Tiona was the one who answered my question "we don't know, they're pretty resistant to weapons, they broke the spare sword I was using and it was a high quality one too!".

Tione then spoke next "as you can see they can spit acid and seemed to be attracted to magic, you saw how they went after Lefiya while she was casting her magic".

I nodded and then reached into my inventory and take out a steel spear and steel sword from my inventory "alright! can you guys hold them off for a about a minute, I'm going to prepare these weapons for you guys but I need some time".

Tione looked excited and began to hop from foot to foot "oh~ what are you going to do with those weapons Rean!".

I grinned and Tiona and winked at her "it's a surprise, so go and hold those monsters off for a bit okay?".

Tiona grinned and then immediately jumped towards the monsters, Tione sighed and facepalmed "great now she's super excited... in any case leave it to us Rean".

With that Tione jumped forward and joined her twin fighting the Violas, I took out a Lemon Gel and hand it to Lefiya who stared at it in confusion "huh? what is it? candy?".

I chuckled and shook my head "it's magical medicine, eat it and it will heal you plus it's tasty as well".

Lefiya raised an eyebrow and stared at the gel for a good long second before deciding to trust me and eat it, I saw her eyes sparkle at the taste as her wounds began to heal.
