Chapter 19. The Abandoned Church Clean up!.

"Rean... let go of that fallen angel you don't know where she's been!".

Rias gaped at Serafall's comments for a good second before in the end I ended up chuckling in amusement, still I dropped the paralyzed Raynare who let out a grunt in pain from her body suddenly hitting the ground.

Serafall smiled and nodded at me, she then turned her head towards Issei to inspect him him bit "Rias why are you here? and why does this dead boy have one of your summoning fliers?".

I watched as Rias tensed up from Serafall's tone of voice and I can understand why, Serafall wasn't her usual cheerful self, no right now she was maou Leviathan, that tone of voice made Rias immediately begin to answer "we knew that this fallen angel was interested in Issei" she pointed at Raynare who looked surprised that the devils had known of her presence, while Rias continued to speak "but we didn't know what she was after so I had my familiar give him one of my fliers just in case, I just didn't think she would kill him, I fact me and Sona thought that she was trying to recruit him for the Grigori".

Serafall turned her head and gazed into Rias's eyes, causingthe Gremory heir to gulp "is that so? then why didn't you or Sona inform my parents or yours?, Sona could have even just contacted to let me know about this, I am the one in charge of foreign affairs after all, I could have easily contacted someone in the Grigori and ask what a fallen angel is doing in devil territory".

Rias frowned and just stared back towards Serafall, she didn't seem to want to answer her questions but Serafall then glared at her causing the Gremory heir to begin to sweat and answer her question "... Sona didn't want to tell you because she thought you would make a big deal out of it or do something stupid... we also didn'ttell our parents because this somethingthat we can handle...".

*Goddamn... that's both stupid and a bit cruel of Sona to say, she should know better... Serafall might act childish and silly at times but that's because she's trying to hide her stress and worries from those she loves, in reality she's very serious about her job as maou and her show".

Serafall stared into Rias's eyes for what seemed hours but then she turned and stared into my eyes and it broke my heart, she was tearing up but she was trying really hard to keep the tears from falling for her eyes, I can only imagine that she must be feeling angry, sad and very disappointed right now.

Serafall then softly spoke "I see... I'm disappointed in both of you and I'll be speaking to my parent and yours about this Rias, Kuoh isn't yours or Sona's playground, you can't make decisions like these on your own... go home".

Rias flinched more than likely she was dreading the upcoming call she was going to get from her mom and dad but Serafall was absolutely right, he and Sona are too young to make decisions like these on their own, especially since it could affect thousands of lives, however Rias spoke "I-I was hoping to reincarnate issei... he didn't have to die tonight and it's kinda of my fault that this happened...".

Serafall didn't say anything but I did "please, I know your interested in the Sacred Gear inside this boy, why else would you even consider adding a person with his reputation to your peerage?".

Rias just looked down and said nothing else, Serafall then spoke up "Rean... bring him back to life and Rias... if you want to add him to your peerage you will approach him and ask him, we do not do things like the Old Satan faction used to, go home now".

Rias eyes widen when she heard Serafall's request for me but knowing that asking about it would be pushing it, she nodded and then teleported away via her summoning circle.

I pointed a hand towards Issei and began to chant "Bring back this soul from purgatory... Resurrection!".

Light engulfed Issei body and lifted him a bit off the ground and began to heal the hole in his stomach, he then was let down on the ground where he layed unconscious but alive, Raynare could only lay on the floor unable to move thanks to being paralyzed as she watched Issei chest began to move up and down signaling that he was once again alive.
