Chapter 80

After Gaea's explanation of her Labyrinth, I wasted no time to explain to Kaede what was going on and what was about to happen, despite her being new to her powers and the Supernatural world she seemed rather excited about going in a Dungeon and adventure inside it like in a Video Game.

I found it amusing that she seemed very excited right now, still I did warn her to be careful and to be alert about everything that could happen while in the Dungeon since despite being a creation of my system, it was and still is a very dangerous place.

Especially to newcomers like her, I still remember how difficult it was for some of the girls when they first went to the Instant Dungeons and it's constant surprises.

So caution is necessary here and Kaede agreed with me, after that explanation I immediately sent us to the first floor of the Gaea's Great Labyrinth and began her first day of training.

We appeared on a small chamber with a staircase leading down, I asked Gaea what this chamber is for and she told me it the entrance and that we can get out of the Dungeon only in through here or teleport to unlocked area.

It was new and a bit of a hassle but it did make things interesting so I didn't complained, instead we headed down the stairs and to the first floor of Gaea's Great Labyrinth.

The first floor was a massive forest as far as the eye can see and even when I flew above the enormous trees I couldn't see the end of it, if I was any other being I would have being overwhelmed but thanks to my Aura Sense skill and my Mini Map I was able to locate the stairs leading to the second floor along some type of buildings spread around the first floor.

I explained to Kaede that we would be staying in the first floor and that she got to choose where to go after I had told her I mapped the floor, she nodded and had me point out the nearest building closed by and after doing so we set out to see what it was.

Along the way we were attacked by some low level monsters like Goblins, Kobolds and even wild wolves, really generic monsters sure but they appeared in big numbers and that made it difficult for Kaede to fight them.

She got nervous and overwhelmed with the first hoard of Goblin that attacked us and wildly lashed out at everything in sight, this is how I witnessed how dangerous a small Oni is.

At first glance you might not think much of small Oni like Kaede and her mom Hanako, but having the strength of an Oni and the agility to move at high speed in contrast to the slow and clumsy movements of a regular Oni makes a big difference.

As Kaede lashed out at the Goblin army she moved so fast and wildly that all the Goblin were sent flying all over the place and died on impact against the ground or trees, it shocked Kaede something fierce and she just stared at the destruction she caused is silence for a little while.

I approached her and spoke up to her "so now you know that your not human anymore and that you now hold an enormous amount of power huh?".

Kaede turned her head towards me and nodded, it seems like it finally hit her that she had become something inhuman, unnatural and she seemed to understood the danger she possess now "now I know why mom seemed so tense all the time... she must be trying very hard not the break anything all the time".

I nodded since that was something I had noticed from Hanako from time to time, there was these moments when she seemed to be moving or doing something very carefully, as if she was afraid of breaking something.

Which in reality makes a lot of sense now, Kaede walked over a tree and stared at it for a good second before suddenly punching it as hard as she could, the tree couldn't handle the strike and instantly cracked.
