Chapter 1- Today, was the day, I was running away. I was sick of my life. I wanted to end it, but I almost forgot. Every life has a happy ever after. So I have to find mine. "RAYNEYYYYY!" A little female voice said. "YES WILLA?" I answered. Willa Charlotte McKnight is my 8 year old sister. She doesn't really understand where our parents are, but she knows that Momma went to handle business, and will come for us soon. She knows Daddy went to Canada, to start a "new" life. We still live in house we use to, and got the realtor to cut the pay, let us work for her, and for the diner. I also make the realtor candles and soap. It helps pay off the house for us. She's a really nice woman. She's about 35 and her name is Shannon. She knew what happened to us, so she offered to keep us a secret, and let's us work for her, and pay her about 20 dollars a week. Also, if the diner doesn't pay me enough, Willa and I go work for her. Willa works for her every day, after school. We make Ms.Shannon soap and candles, too. She got us into a really good school, and helps pay for supplies, food, medicine, and other important needs. Ms.Shannon saves our life, and we watch hers. I told Ms.Shannon I was going to run away one day. She asked me why. "If I don't get out of everyone's life's at some point, someone's gonna kill me. No one can stand me being here. I know you don't like caring for us. We waste your money. Willa is always wanting toys, and I need Junior High books. No body wants us Ms.Shannon. I know you understand that." I told her. "Rayne, you've done nothing but good for this world. And someone outta thank you for it. I don't mind caring for you both. You don't push it. Stay here. We don't want you to go." She reasoned. But that wasn't enough. This time, I'm leaving Willa.
"RAYYYYYYYYYNEYYY!!!!!!" Willa screamed. "WHAT!" I shouted back, will a little tone. "IVE BEEN CALLING YOU FOR THE PAST 10 MILLION BA-JILLION MINUTES! STOP IGNORING AND GOING TO LA LA WORLDDDD!!!" She sassed at me. She is freaking 8. She needs to learn, Sass should be left in the Past, and not brought to the Future. Gosh!
WILLA's POV: "SASS SHOULD BE LEFT IN THE PAST, AND NOT BROUGHT INTO THE FUTURE!" I heard Rayne say. I mouthed as she said it. She always says that. I hate Ray Ray sometimes. Wait.. Huggley? I just found my big brown stuffed bear named Huggley under the couch. Small world. "Huggle Mastaaa! Long time no hug!" I talked to the bear as I gave him a big hug.
