"Holly-for-Rent"
Most of the Nuns live in fragile fantasy. The concept behind the Fragile Fantasy is also the same as the fantasy of joining the religious life is very fragile, and it broke down even within no time after joining but newcomers, aspirants, novices, Nuns (sisters) just keep doing due to multiple personal reasons.
I found Nuns perform as actresses whether they are ready or not with a smile on their face but with a broken and hollow heart. Ostentatiousness becomes the part of their lives or ostentatiousness becomes the center of their lives. They know that how much they are sincere and holy in their services but they always boast of their holiness.
The harsher fact is "Nun on Rent", somehow presents the mindset of the religious order or congregation, they thought they might have bought a few slaves from their parents just to perform holiness or pretend holiness just against giving them accommodation, food, and other basic needs, this thought of religious authorities usually comes out especially during behaviors and talks with newcomers (aspirants), and it becomes so casual that they even don't feel it's wrong.
They listen bad but have to perform good, watch bad but keep doing good, during the fast season, Nuns are taught to avoid physical desires e.g. food, speaking, and other entertaining activities. On the other hand, all things and activities go the same as common days by hiding oneself from the religious leaders. They can do openly whatever they want but trainees do secretly whatever they want.
It happens because they only teach but don't perform their words in actions. They always expect good deeds from the other side.
During prayer, they are not allowed to gossip against anyone or to speak a single word out of prayer but this also happens and newcomers also learn to deceit others especially themselves.
