Chapter 16

They made it out of the wedding area and after going some miles parted ways. The Straw Hats continued on foot running to where the Sunny was but apparently luck was not on their side, unsurprisingly, and Big Mom is right on their tail

She's angry and hungry. Not a good combination

They are running for their lives through the seducing woods, which was not easy. Franky had Robin hoisted on his shoulder while he ran while Robin tried her best to at least slow Big Mom down with her devil fruit powers

Nami managed to use Zeus to her advantage and she striked Big Mom with a huge thunderbolt. Big Mom literally went six feet under. But it only managed to slow her down. Big Mom walked underground making her way up

They were literally running for their lives and all the close range fighters were practically useless since they were focusing on escaping not fighting

Sanji ran close to Zoro to make sure he doesn't go the wrong way. They can't keep this up forever and the talking trees weren't helping either

As they were running through the woods Pudding on her flying carpet came, Chiffon was with her too. The crew were confused by the sudden appearance of the girl who tricked them, they were also a bit angry.  Luffy was ready to throw down if she tried something and Zoro was just drop down pissed, glaring at her

"Pudding-chan I'm so glad you're okay. What are you doing here?"

Ah Sanji always the nice one. Zoro sighed as he run closer to him. It was his protectiveness

Pudding blushed and Zoro rose a brow at that

"Sanji-san"

"Yeah?" Sanji said smiling

She blushed as she looked at him, holding her hands together

"You.." 'Are the best. I want to make sure you survive' "You.. you"

"I?"

"You fools" she smiled evilly at them "You're not making it out alive. Mama will hunt you down and squash you like the filthy bugs you are. HAHAHAHA!" she laughed maniacally

"PUDDING WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?" Chiffon screeches behind her

Pudding blinked "You're right. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME" She said before looking down in disgrace

Zoro scoffed "If that's what you came here to say then leave before I make you" he then placed his hand on the hilt of his sword for emphasis

"No that's not why we came" Chiffon took the reigns "Mama is having one of her hunger pains. This time she's craving the wedding cake you destroyed and if she doesn't get it she'll destroy the whole island"

"And how is that our problem?" Nami asked

"Mama thinks you have the cake and she would chase you across the sea just to get it. So the best way to handle this is to give her the cake she wants"

"So you need my help" Sanji concluded as he put two and two together. If they need to bake a cake to satisfy Big Mom they needed the best chefs they could get

"How do we know we can trust you?" Zoro, who Sanji just noticed was very close, asked" You I get but her?" he said glaring at Pudding

"Trust us. We came to help"

"Not me. It just so happens that the cake I was going to bake for myself is the exact same one Mama craves. And I just happened to pass by here. It's not like I came all the way here to help because I don't want you to die. Sanji...........-san" She giggled and turned away with flushed cheeks
