The cake was baked and stacked, all that there was left to do was decorate it and due to little time they decide to decorate it on the go
There were some difficulties especially with having an encounter with Pudding's hot-headed (get it, 'cause of his devil fruit) brother. Sanji, disguised, quickly saved Chiffon from Oven. Zoro was irritated that he couldn't do anything since he had to hide for now. So he was shoved at a corner and covered with a tarp. Yeah real grade A treatment
They got the cake onto Bege's ship and headed to were Big Mom was. During the ride they finished icing and decorating the cake. Bege pitched they should poison the cake to kill Big Mom as he intended to before but, unsurprisingly, Sanji shot the idea down. He made a statement that he feeds those who are hungry and if they wanted to kill Big Mom after then he doesn't care. It was badass and Pudding combusted, blood dripping down her nose
They dropped the cake off at an island that was in Big Mom's line of sight then they sailed further away for safety
Big Mom was drooling, her eyes widened at the sight of the cake. The one she's been craving. She had clearly lost a lot of weight, bordering to skeletal
Her son, Perosperos, was skeptical about her eating it since it was delivered by Bege. It could be poisoned but it wasn't like he could stop her if he wanted to
Big Mom took a handful of the cake and ate. She froze. Her eyes widened, her body shaking, mouth agape
Sanji watched on, he sat on Pudding's carpet with Zoro next to him. He took a drag from his cigrette
"I... It.... It's"
"Mama?"
"YUMMY!!!!"
Sanji smirked then turned away. That's what he wanted to hear. Someone satisfied with the meal
Pudding flew them back to their ship, only to hear that their idiot of a captain is fighting, apparently the strongest of Big Mom's children in the mirror world. Sanji sighed, he was tired damn it. Luffy said he'll be back at one o'clock and out of a mirror at Chocolat Island
Sanji along with Zoro decided to go back there to meet their captain 'cause after he wins he' ll probably be too banged up
But apparently nothing comes easy to them 'cause here they are with Pudding hiding in an alley as the only mirror on the island is placed in the center of the town, surrounded by hundreds of soldiers, just great
Sanji looked out of the alley way it was getting close to one. He turned back but was met with one person
"Where's the mosshead?! That idiot" he better find his way back here before one, or Sanji will have to save their captain and look for the lost marimo
"Oh Roronoa said he heard some voices near by so he was going to check it out and be back soon"
"I guess I won't be seeing him for a year"
"What was that?"
"Thank you for the information my dear"
"D-dear? Don't call me that. Stay away from me Sanji......-san❤️" she said shuffling further away from him
Sanji sweat dropped at her changing personalities but smiled at her none the less. She's really helped them a lot
"Pudding-chan thank you" Pudding jerked at this looking at Sanji's sincere face which made her heart flip "for helping us. I'm really grateful. I know this wasn't how you intially expected this wedding to go and you weren't keen on marrying me and the whole plan but.." he shot her a smile ".. I'm glad you played my fiancee"
Pudding's heart flipped and she gulped. He was grateful? She should be the one saying that. How? How can he smile at her like that after all she's done. What kind of person is he? She likes him, that should be obvious but she can see it in his eyes. When he looks at her the only thing swirling in the visible orb was pure, unscathe friendship but when he is with Roronoa his orb is swirling with something more than just a simple crush or a like-like. It was love probably even more than that. She was jealous, she wished he would look at her like that but that didn't seem possible, but
"Sanji...... -san, can I ask you a favor?"
Just once
"Just one, for the last time I want you to do me a favor"
She wants to feel love
She removed the cigarette from his lips. Her eyes wet with unshed tears
She then threw herself at him, lips locked with his as she hugged him
Sanji froze
And as soon as it started it ended. She looked up at him smiling
"Thank you"
Before Sanji could do anything she used her devil fruit to erase his memory
Sanji blinked then Pudding ran
"Wait Pudding-chan, you said you wanted to ask a favor....... what is it?" He stood there dumbfounded
Pudding further away stopped running and walked, wiping away the tears. When she turned the corner she came face to face with Zoro, who glared down at her
"I'm guessing you saw everything"
Zoro clicked his tongue
"Listen, Roronoa, you better not let him go 'cause I won't hesitate to take an opportunity to get him"
Zoto walked passed her to the cook
"Wasn't planning on it"
He continued his stride to the cook. Pudfing watched with a smile. She was glad Sanji had somebody to love him as much but she wasn't joking about swiping Sanji for herself if the opportunity presents it's self
Sanji heard footsteps approaching and turned to meet Zoro. He sighed with relief before getting angry
"Damn it. You know better than to go on your own. Next time warn me or else-"
"Or else what? You're gonna leave me again" the last part came out hostile and judgemental
Sanji's eyes widened so did Zoro's. He didn't mean for that to come out. He snapped his mouth shut and looked at the cook apologetically
Sanji looked at him, guilt taking over
"I-"
