Lani's POV

(i am warning you guys right now that this is like over an hour long read so...🙈)

"Are you ready to go, beautiful?" I was taking one last look at myself in the mirror before we went. I turned my head to look at Y/N.

"Yes." She looked beautiful. My face lit up from the sight of her. She smiled back at me and winked.

Tonight's special. Megan's throwing a party at her place and so many people are going. I can't wait to turn up.

"You look amazing." I walked over to her and pulled her in by her waist. I quickly admired her. Her enchanting eyes, her lucious lips, the way the gold jewelry complimented her skin, her in the dress. Everything about this girl was perfect to me.

"Thank you, my love." She leaned in for a kiss.

"Let's go." We turned everything off in the room and made our way downstairs. I grabbed my keys off the hook and opened the door, I let her go out first.

I followed behind her as she walked to the car. I opened the passenger door for her and waited for her to get settled before I got in.

"You got everything?" I looked over at her and she started looking through her bag.

"Oh shit, I forgot to bring the bottle." She looked up at me.

"I'll go get it." I unbuckled my seatbelt.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, it'll be quick." I got out of the car and walked back into the house.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed the bottle from the island and got two shot glasses from the cabinet. I made sure I had everything I needed and headed back to the car.

I got in and handed Y/N the bottle and the shot glasses. She looked at me confused.

"What are these for?" She held them out.

"For us." I put my seatbelt belt back on.

"Now, Lani..." She looked at me slyly.

"Two shots won't hurt. I'm not even gon get drunk, I just wanna feel good."

"I guess, but we gon open the bottle?" She raised her eyebrow.

"You actin like it ain't gon be nothing there. We're literally going to Megan's house." I put my left hand on the steering wheel.

"True. Let's pregame?" She held the bottle up and shook it a little.

"Yes." She handed me a shot glass and poured some into it.

"Let me pour yours, baby."

"Okay." She handed me the bottle and held out her glass. I poured it and put the cork back in.

"Don't drink too much tonight, we still need to get home."

"I can leave the car at her house and get it in the morning." I reached over and placed the bottle down near her feet.

"Uber?"

"No, Santana." She gave me a sly look again.

"If he even shows up." She shrugged her shoulders.

"He will. And even if he didn't, I'd get us a ride." I tilted my head to the side.

"I like your thinking."

"I'm quite smart."

"Well...," She looked up and around, "Let's take these shots." The fuck?

"The fuck?" I looked at her and rolled my eyes.
