In the year 1945, the people of the Great Fatherland fighting a losing war against its enemies wondered when the war was going to end and the sons that had left to fight in the war.
They got their wish when the US ended World War II by dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The world awaited Armageddon.
Instead, something miraculous happened.
The US began to use atmoic energy not as a weapon but as a nearly Limitless source of power.
The Fatherland was rebuilding in a fast pace with the machineries from the United States, who didn't impose severe penalty. They have shown forgiveness and compassion that they never thought their former enemy would show.
In 1948, Germany have rebuilt back to its formal glory and began to recover economically with the help of the US and its allies. Once former enemies, the Fatherland, now part of the European CommonWealth was exchanging technologies with each other, improving relationships and living standards.
People enjoys the luxuries once thought the realm of Science Fiction.

Portable computers
Whole new inventions were being invented and produced to the people around the globe, while the whole world enters the long period of peace.
But then in the 21st century, people awoke from the prosperous dream. Years of consumption led to shortages of every major resources.
The entire world unraveled.
Peace became a distant memory.
It is now the year 2077.
We stand on the brink of Total War and I am afraid.
