Chapter 1 - A New Arrival At a Bad Time

[The Hall of the Afterlife, Unknown Time]

(Karliana POV)

'Wait...'

'Where am I?'

I looked around my surroundings and saw Giant white pillars along the side making a long great hall. It almost looks as if there is no end of it on both side, and on the walls of the great hall was picture of unknown people with names that I would not describe. However, I can sense great authorities coming from these picture as if the person in it was of a higher being.

"What is going on? I thought that I will be dead, and I will go see my children again. Is this what afterlife looks like?" I said out loud as I was not sure if this is what truly where all the souls go after they die, to wander the great hall for enternity.

"That is not the case, my dear." A loud voice rings around me. The voice was a mixture of male and female voice, that it creeps me out.

I looked around in a panick trying to locate the voice, but sees no one. I was already wondering if I'm losing my mind already.

"No, you're not going crazy, my dear. This is the Great Hall of the Afterlife, or Valhalla as it was called by the ancient nordic people. You're not in an afterlife, but merely transported here in the Great Hall to be transfered to another world." The voice called out.

"Wait, you can read my mind? Actually, hold that thought. Who are you?" I asked with curiousity.

"Some may call me 'God', or some calls me 'the Judge'. Though in truth, I'm the Overseer of the Great Hall of Afterlife. I generally just transfer someone to another world after recieving specific orders from my creator who does the judging of ones soul." The voice replied. That got me curious as now that I knew I have been judged by his or her creator?

"So.....I have been judged. May I know what I have been judged upon?" I asked the voice, curious as to what judgement they were saying.

"My creator judge a soul's crime, and deeds. Your soul was considered to be clean without any crimes, and the deeds of trying to stop others from committing mass murder. Though you may have used the neutron shells to mercy kill your 'children' and to wipe an entire fleet of humans and spirit kind. You were considered to be clean as you didn't follow the path of other spirits such as the spirit of HMS Queen Elizabeth, or the infamous American Naval spirits that is tained with numerous crimes." The voice said with a bit a malice in the end.

"Oh yeah....the american ship spirits.....shame, I have seen them before when they were still pure. But after hearing all their crimes against the chinese later, who did the same to them in return. I.....just didn't want to think they were capable of all of those 'things'." I look to the side while thinking about my time with the american spirits, especially USS Enterprise (CVN-80) and her sisters, Yorktown and hornet. I once treat them as if they were my children, but just big babies in general during an trade convoy escort in 2028. If I remember correctly they were all built and launched in the same year, 2025. I sighed thinking about it, knowing that I will never go back to that time after what they did in the news.

"Anyways, I will be sending you to another world. There you will be task with few simple mission, to keep the world's factions casaulties low while uniting them and keeping the sirens in check." The voice then said well also seeming to flicking a paper as the noise suggests.

"Wait, what do you mean keeping their casaulties low while uniting them and what's a siren-" I got transported out of the room when the Overseer voice snaps his fingers sending me away to the next world.

[Third POV]

After Karliana Mauser was sent off to the next world without any explaination. Overseer was contemplating whether that was a good idea to not give her some explaination.
