Chapter 2 - A busy day

[Enterprise Narrating]

"We are weapons, shaped like humans."

"The Mental Cube."

[Camera shows the A Pure Mind cube]

"An unknown crystal substance brought to humanity through the battle against the Sirens."

[Camera then changes to a girl in rigging inside of a lab tube]

"The Mental Cubes are the basis on which we are created,"

"imbued with the power to fight the Sirens."

"That power is the power of ships."

[Camera then changes to multiple scenes of kansen eliminating Sirens to the Azur Lane flag]

"The power to conquer the seas and defeat the Sirens."

"It is with this power that humanity reclaimed the seas."

"But, in pursuit of even more power,"

"humanity was split in two."

[Then two groups of kansen were shown against each other]

"The Red Axis, an alliance formed by Sakura Empire and Iron Blood,"

"desires to take in the power of the Sirens."

"They raised a rebellion against the Azur Lane."

[Camera then changes flying above the ocean surface]

"Even when facing a common threat, the Sirens,"

"Conflict between human factions continues."

[Anime Opening music starts]

[Time: December 07, 1941. Location: Pearl Habour]

[Camera flying towards Pearl habour showing the destruction it got from the attack from Sakura Empire and Sirens, while Manjuus are rescuing damaged Kansen]

(Third POV)

Princes of Wales, Illustrious and Azur Lane Commander Miranda Smith, was standing on the dock with a Royal Maid behind them as Wales was checking out the damage they have suffered from the attack.

Wales: "They got us."

Wales: "I didn't expect Sakura Empire to make the first move."

Miranda: "I don't think any of us did, we got too complacent."

Illustrious: "Sakura Empire allying with Iron Blood was no surprise."

Illustrious: "But..."

She then looks to the areas where there is wreckage of Siren ships and jets with her eyes squint, while the Azur Lane Kansen were keeping guard around before the wrecks disappear into nothingness.

Wales: "Are they aware of how dangerous the power of the Sirens is?"

Wales exclaim with some anger in her tone as she shows displeasure towards the crimson axis for using siren technology that is not human.
