The microphone crackled to life, drawing our attention to the stage. The host's enthusiastic voice cut through the murmur of the crowd. "Alright, alright, alright. Onto our next act, all the way from the City of Angels. This soft-spoken angel has come to bless our ears with the wonderful sounds of her words while captivating us with her beauty. Give it up for Ms. Monét!" The crowd erupted into snaps of approval as the host left the stage.

A blonde woman, exuding an effortless grace, approached the spotlight. Her tan leather crop top and brown cargo pants, paired with coconut Nike Dunks, accentuated her striking presence. She moved with a sensual confidence that seemed to draw the eyes of everyone in the room.

"She definitely not from around here," Tanarelle remarked beside me, her gaze fixed on Ms. Monét as she took her seat on the bar stool center stage. The soft light illuminated her features, revealing a stunning bronze complexion that seemed to glow with an otherworldly radiance. Her brown glossed lips curved into a smile, showing off dimples and sparkling white teeth that made her look like she'd stepped out of a 90s film—a cross between Sadé and Aaliyah, with a quiet yet commanding presence.

"Y'all, I think Meg found her next victimmmmm," Coco teased from behind me, and I shot her a look. "Girl, shut the hell up," I replied, trying to refocus on the stage as the group dissolved into snickers.

Ms. Monét's voice was like honey, warm and melodic. "Hey guys. It's so nice to be here with y'all tonight, I'm definitely loving the vibe." She chuckled, adding, "I'm Monet, Ms. Monét if ya' nasty." The crowd responded with laughter and whistles. "Megan definitely nasty," Normani mumbled, and I turned around, exasperated. "Damn, y'all get paid to talk about me or something? Shut up and let me listen to the lady. Shit!"

The atmosphere shifted as Ms. Monét's voice deepened. "This is just a little something I made up on the way up here. I call it 'Say My Name.'" Her deep brown eyes seemed to darken, and a lady in the audience called out her name. "Yeah, just like that," Monét responded playfully before starting her piece. Her smile was so contagious, I couldn't help but grin.

yeah, that's all y'all getting for nowwwwww! let me know what y'all think!
