Two days had passed since Taehyung had arrived in Italy for his four-day business trip. The work that had brought him to this picturesque city was unexpectedly completed ahead of schedule. With a sense of satisfaction and relief, Taehyung found himself ready to leave earlier than planned.
The hotel room door swung open with a soft click, and Jungkook appeared in the doorway, his suitcase rolling beside him. He stood there, waiting, as the sound of bustling activity in the corridor faded in the background. His gaze fell on Taehyung, and he checked his watch with an air of casual impatience.
“Tae, are you ready?” Jungkook called out, his voice carrying a hint of mixed with anticipation.
Taehyung, who had been adjusting his belongings, turned around to see Jungkook’s familiar figure framed against the hotel’s polished hallway. His face brightened with a smile, reflecting the relief of completing his trip ahead of time. He placed his own suitcase on the floor with a deliberate yet effortless motion.
“Yup! Let’s go,” Taehyung responded with enthusiasm, his tone conveying his eagerness to wrap up the trip and head home.
With that, he joined Jungkook, and the two of them started their journey out of the hotel. Their footsteps echoed through the lobby as they made their way towards the airport. The transition from their brief Italian adventure to their familiar routine was marked by a shared sense of camaraderie and a mutual readiness to return to their daily lives.

At the café,
the atmosphere was bustling with activity. Millie, Jessica, and the rest of the staff were diligently managing their tasks. Jessica, stationed at the counter, took orders from a steady stream of customers. One customer, a man with a calm demeanor, placed his order and then found a seat, waiting for his food to be served.Millie, who was keeping an eye on the operations, decided to personally deliver the order to this particular customer. As she approached his table, she was taken aback to see that the customer was Seok.
Millie’s eyes widened in surprise as she called out, “Seok! What are you doing here?”
Seok looked up, equally surprised to see her. “Millie, what are you doing here? Are you working here?”
Millie responded with a warm smile, “Oh, no, not at all. I actually own this café. Sometimes, I like to pitch in and work alongside my team.”
Seok’s surprise shifted to amusement as he chuckled. He gazed around the café, taking in its cozy ambiance. “I had no idea this was your place. I was just passing through and felt a bit hungry, so I decided to grab a coffee.”
Millie, still smiling, teased him, “You’re not stalking me, are you? It seems like every time I turn around, I run into you.”
Seok laughed, shaking his head with a grin. “No, nothing like that. I just didn’t realize this was your café.”
He looked around appreciatively, noting, “This place is really nice. I’m glad I stopped by.”
After a while, Seok and Millie continued their casual conversation. As Millie immersed herself in her work, Seok stayed seated, watching her with an increasing sense of admiration. He found himself lost in thought, marveling at how someone could be so captivating. Realizing he was daydreaming, Seok muttered to himself, “Seok, stop it. What are you thinking?”
Eventually, Seok made his way to the counter to pay his bill. Millie, who was now stationed behind the counter, greeted him. “Consider this my treat,” she said, attempting to cover the bill.
