(Rewritten, please tell me if there is any mistakes.) I hope you all enjoy this chapter. I had a lot of fun writing it!
_____________
I looked into his green eyes. Why? Why me?
Aiden held my gaze, my face was expressionless. Aiden's eyes sparkled with confidence, hinted with mischief. His eyes showed so much emotion and my eyes showed no sign of anything.
Sighing, I broke the small staring contest we were having. I headed toward the teachers desk. The teacher was a young women, probably fresh out of collage, with strawberry blond hair and about an inch taller then me. I gazed at my shoes and cleared my throat. Everybody else was already in their seats. The woman's head snapped up. I looked up at her through my eyes lashes. The women smiled.
"New student?" She asked. I shook my head yes. The women had a slight southern accent and seemed like the motherly type. "Well, I'm Mrs. Viars. I have a feeling you don't want to introduce yourself to the class." I shook my head no, maybe a little too fast. Mrs. Viars giggled at me; she honestly seems pretty laid back and cool. The late bell rang over head. "Alright, you can go have a seat next to," Mrs. Viars' eyes scanned the class. I saw panic in her eyes. What was there no seats open? I thought confused. "Aiden."
My head snapped up. What? I couldn't have heard right. Mrs. Viars even looked sympathetic. The universe really hates me. Why universe? I frowned but trudged to my seat in the back of the class next to Aiden. He snickered slightly. I mentally groaned.
"Asshole." I muttered under my breath, sliding into the seat next to Aiden. I tried to make a wall with my hair, refusing to look at him.
The class got quiet when Mrs. Viars began to talk. I looked up from the desk and towards the front of the room. I was at the seat at the way back of the room. Usually, this would be my seat of choice because its easier to blend into the background. Now, I did mind because I had to seat next to him. A small sigh came from my lips.
"Well class, I hope you like where you're sitting. These seats will be your permanent seats for the rest of the year." A few kids groaned and Mrs. Viars looked towards me, eyes saying 'sorry.' I sighed. "This year we are doing a project. To make it easier the person you sit with will be your partner." She told the class. Great, just perfect.
"Well now since you'll be spending the whole year with this person, I figured you guys should get to know each other. I'm handing out a paper with some questions on it. One person will read the questions and both of you will answer. One of you will write the answer down." Mrs. Viars handed me a paper. "Simple. Oh, this is a grade." I let out the groan I had been holding in since class started.
I had to keep my grade up, so I couldn't just ignore Aiden like I wanted to. The questions were simple, some a bit weird. Favorite animal, full name, favorite food, stuff like that. I scanned the paper and saw a question I did not want to answer. 'Your parents or guardian.' Why is that question even on here? My adoptive parents were really well known. The paper was ripped out of my eyes, tearing me from my thoughts as well.,
