The hum of the engines reverberated through the chamber of our DP20 frigate, the ship settling into Coruscant's orbit. Nar Shaddaa felt like a distant memory as the city-planet sprawled out beneath us, its lights shimmering against the dark canvas of space. I glanced at Isaac, whose face was a mix of relief and fatigue after our chase. The battle had been grueling, but we had managed to apprehend Darth Morvus and a few of his followers.

The docking clamps engaged with a familiar clunk, and the ramp extended. We were met by a delegation of Jedi, their robes swaying as they moved briskly toward us. Among them was Master Tholme, his stern expression softening slightly as he saw us. Beside him was a younger Jedi, their face reflecting the weight of the duty that lay ahead.

"Master Tholme," I greeted, my voice steady but carrying the exhaustion of the past few days. "We've brought Morvus and the others."

"Good work, Kodo," Master Tholme replied, his gaze scanning the captured Dark Jedi. "We'll handle them from here."

I noticed a Jedi med-tech attending to one of Morvus's followers, a young man with a haunted look in his eyes. His injuries were severe, but not life-threatening. The med-tech's work was precise, though I could see the patient's fear in his eyes, a stark contrast to the cold resolve of the Dark Jedi we had faced.

Isaac stood beside me, his eyes narrowing as he watched the scene unfold. "What's going to happen to him?" he asked quietly.

"Justice will be served," I said, though I wasn't entirely sure what that would entail. The Jedi Order had its ways, but I could see the uncertainty in the eyes of our comrades. The trial would be rigorous, and the galaxy demanded answers.

Master Tholme approached us, his gaze reflecting both pride and concern. "You've done well, Kodo. The Council is pleased with your efforts."

"Thank you, Master," I replied, feeling a sense of accomplishment mixed with the weariness of our mission. "But there's something else. I'd like to speak with the Council about the informant."

Tholme raised an eyebrow, curiosity evident. "What about him?"

I took a deep breath, steadying myself. "I believe he has potential. Even if the Order doesn't see it, I think he could be trained. He's shown a willingness to change, and we might be able to help him find redemption."

Master Tholme considered my words carefully. "The Council has already decided that he will be healed and then held for trial. It's not common practice to train those who have been part of such darkness."

Isaac stepped forward, his support clear. "Master Tholme, Kodo has a point. This individual has already shown remorse, and if we can guide him, he might become a valuable ally in the future. It's worth considering."

Master Tholme's eyes softened, and he looked at the informant, who was now being carefully tended to by the med-tech. "Very well, Kodo. I'll take your request to the Council. But remember, it's a delicate matter. Redemption isn't guaranteed."

"I understand," I said, my voice firm with resolve. "I just want to ensure that we do everything we can to prevent further descent into darkness."

As the med-tech finished up, the informant's eyes met mine, a flicker of hope and uncertainty playing across his face. I could sense his fear, but also a glimmer of trust.

Master Tholme nodded. "I'll make sure your request is heard. You and Isaac should get some rest. You've earned it."

Isaac and I followed the Jedi escort through the corridors of the Temple, our steps echoing softly against the polished floors. I couldn't shake the feeling that our journey was far from over. The shadows of the past still lingered, and the path to redemption was never straightforward. But as we walked through the hallowed halls of the Jedi Temple, I felt a renewed sense of purpose.
