You're in any house you want | 4th Grade | Fluff | Y/n/n = your nickname
When you woke up, it was 7 a.m. You weren't feeling well, your ears were ringing, and the world seemed to be spinning around you, but you ignored it. You got out of bed, went through your morning rituals, and changed into your house's robes.
You entered the Great Hall and took a seat beside Hermione. "Good morning, Y/n," she said, smiling sweetly. "Hey," you say softly.
You began by having your breakfast and then proceeded to your first lesson, DADA.
Only a few of your classmates were there when you entered the classroom. You sat in the back of the classroom, refusing to engage with anything today since you weren't feeling well. Draco entered the classroom after a time, shoving some of his classmates aside on his way to you.
"Good morning, love," he murmured as he approached you to kiss you, but you sneezed before his lips reached yours. "I'm sorry," you said. He kissed your forehead and whispered, "Don't worry, love. Y/n/n, are you all right, " he asked, his voice concerned since you were slightly burned. "Why wouldn't I be?" you responded, feigning a smile.
You were stubborn about not admitting you were unwell. You didn't want to seem weak or bring attention to yourself.
Snappy Snape walked in when the door flung open. You began to feel much worse than before about half-way through the class.
Professor Snape must have noticed because you were constantly participating in his class. But you didn't this time. As a result, he approached you.
"Are you all okay, Ms. Y/l/n" You turned to face him and answered, tilting your head. "Yes, sir," you said, your voice rasping. Professor Snape was not convinced, so Draco was instructed to take you to Madame Pomfrey.
"Come on, darling," he murmured, holding your hand as you walked into the hospital wing together. You didn't object because you were too weak to do so, you couldn't argue.
Once you had entered, Madame Pomfrey went directly to you. She said, "What happened, Mr Malfoy?"
Draco murmured, still keeping you close, "Could you kindly check up on her." Draco moved you to one of the beds after she responded, "Of course, dear."
Madame Pomfrey was testing you and handing you potions to drink, while Draco sat alongside you. She turned to you when she finished and said. "Mrs Y/l/n, you're sick, dear," she comforted you, "but don't worry, it's nothing to be concerned about; it's only a simple cold."
Draco was concerned about you after hearing the news. He couldn't bear seeing his lovely little girl in such a state. "What might I do for her, Ma'am?" he said of the older lady.
She said, "You, dear," and turned to face him. "Keep an eye on her, give her, her potions, and just be there for her if she needs anything,"
He said, "Can I bring her to my room?" "Yes, dear, you may do so; I will also notify Professor Dumbledore, for Ms Y/l/n's stay in your dorm room," she replied as she waved you away.
"Come on, darling," he murmured as he assisted you to your feet. You both walked right inside his dorm room and collapsed onto his bed. You wrapped yourself in his blankets to be warm. He said, "Darling." "Mmm," you muttered. "Could you kindly rise up and drink your potion?" he softly asked.
You pouted and hid under the blankets, saying, "I don't want to drink it." Draco laughed. When you were acting like a baby, his baby, he adored you.
"Okay, if you'll do it for me," he said as he yanked your blankets off your head. "Fine," you finally conceded, "but because you said so." He happily exclaimed, "That's my girl," and handed you your potion to drink.
You had a funny expression on your face after drinking it, which made Draco chuckle beside you.
You said, "That potion stinks." He grabbed the glass and whispered, "I know baby, I know. Do you want me to read you a book, darling" he inquired.
You just nodded. Draco snatched up your favorite book and sat next you in bed, your head resting on his chest.
He heard gentle noises coming from beside him after a time, and you were sound asleep in his arms.
He placed the book on the nightstand and drew you even closer, if that was possible. He muttered as he kissed your forehead. "I love you, darling, you'll get better soon," he said, closing his eyes.
Draco woke up at 7 p.m. with a tap on his door. He looked at you and walked gently to open his door after noticing that you were asleep. Blaise was standing there, holding a stack of paperwork. He gave them to Draco and said, "Here's your and Y/n's notes, mate." 'Cause you hadn't attended any other classes besides DADA, Blaise planned to assist you with the remaining classes.
Draco closed the door behind him, not wanting to wake you up from his talk with Blaise. "How is she?" Blaise said. He answered, "I don't know yet, mate." "Don't worry, she'll get better soon," he comforted him. "I know, thanks," "Anytime," he replied as he walked away. "I'll leave, you go back to her, and we'll chat later."
Draco returned to the room, only to find you seated against the bed frame, looking up at him.
You said, "Hey, Dray." "How are you feeling, love?" he inquired. "Better I suppose," you said, a smile remaining on your face.
Draco chuckled and said, "Why are you smiling?"
"I'm just happy," you said.
He sat on the bed and drew you closer to him, murmuring, "Mmm."As he was about to say something a quiet tap came from the door, and Hermione stepped in, a tray full of food in her hands, just as he was about to say something.
She placed the food on the desk and added, "I brought you some food." You thanked her, saying, "Thank you, Hermione, you didn't have to."
"No, it's ok; I really want to help with something, and since Draco was there keeping an eye on you, I helped him," she said honestly.
Draco amended himself, "Thanks Gr- Hermione."
They weren't on bad terms, but they weren't rivals either; they were just acquaintances.
"Well, I must leave, good night guys, " she smiled at you and went out.
"Gimme the food," you cried out, arms outstretched like a five-year-old. "You're such a baby," Draco joked as he handed you the food tray. He said, "Here, darling."
Your eyelids began to close as soon as you finished eating.
You pouted, "Mm, I'm sleepy." Draco said, "You'll sleep darling after you take your potion."
With your head tilted to the side, you inquired, "Another one?" He handed you the cap and remarked, "The last one." You lay down under the covers once you've finished drinking it.
"Can you lay with me, Dray?" you quietly inquired.
"Of course, love," he murmured as he knelt alongside you and cuddled you with his arms around your waist.
He kissed your forehead and whispered, "Good night, love. I love you."
However, you had already slept out in his arms.
The next morning, you felt much better than you had the day before. "Good morning, Dray," you greeted as soon as you opened your eyes and turned to face him. "Good morning, beautiful," he said. "How are you doing?" he said.
"Very well, thank you, " you said, chuckling. Draco began hovering over you, "Now that you're feeling good." "Yes," you said. "Can I kiss you?" he inquired. You made him impatient by saying, "Let me think about it." You eventually said, "Yes."
His lips moved in unison with yours. You split up after a lengthy, passionate kiss. As you laughed, he remarked, "God, I was waiting twenty-four hours to do that."
"I love you, Y/n," he murmured again, pecking your lips.
You said, "I love you more."
He grinned and said, "Impossible."
